Cloudy, rainy and then clearing!
A pretty good day today. I had a kind of bad morning, I missed the first ringing of the alarm clock. When it rang for the second time I was surprised that it was so late. Oops. I got up and went to the apartment and just slept. I didn't read, didn't do any beadwork. Sigh. Oh well.
I left for work a little early today and it was a good thing too. Halfway to work, I discovered that the road was blocked off and was being repaired. That meant I had to quickly find an alternate route to get to work. I did, and luckily got to work at a decent time!
I had a couple of classes not show up today. I knew that one wasn't going to, but the other one was a surprise. Still, I had lots of other work to do. I had to counsel two students today, both in my own time.
After work I did up my paperwork and waited for my hubby to phone me. And I waited. He was very late, so I phoned him. I couldn't reach him. Then I called our house but didn't get any answer. I was a bit worried, but decided that he probably had to work late. I decided to go and wait for him at the apartment. I biked off, telling my co-worker that if my husband did call the school, to tell him where I went. But, as I rounded the corner behind Jusco, my cell phone rang. It was him. He just finished work. Oh my. He met me at the apartment. It turns out that he had to drive to Yamagata tonight, after 5pm, his normal finishing time. He returned after 9:30 pm. I felt so sorry for him.
We were both tired so we went out for yakiniku and had a good feast! We probably ate too much, but it was really good. Then we came home and that was our day!
