Clear and a little cold. Better than yesterday!
Yesterday we had about 3 inches of snow...the weather was wacky! It was clear at 11:30 when I went to work, but by 1:00 there was thunder, hail and snow! When I finally got to the apartment at 3:00am, there was a lot of snow, and it was like a blizzard! Pretty tough to bike in, but I made it.
I went to bed around 4:30 am but woke up at 5:30. I was really cold so I did something I wasn't supposed to. I turned on the heater, to a low temperature, and opened the window so there would be some new air coming in. Then, I went back to bed. I was woken up every 3 hours to reset the heater, but I was warm enough to sleep.
When I got up this morning I did a load of laundry and I also put away my futon. When Fumihiko finally called, I started making breakfast and by the time he arrived, I was busy cooking. I made an omelet with eggplant, ham and cheese, plus bacon and sausages. It was yummy! I had decaf earl grey tea too.
After eating we went out. Fumihiko wanted to go to the temple where his father is buried, so we bought some flowers on the way and went. There were quite a few people there, but we did our thing and then left. After that, I suggested that we go to the mall to see a movie. When we arrived, the parking lot was busy, but we found a space. There were two films that we hadn't seen yet, Catch Me If You Can and Die Another Day, the James Bond movie. Well, Bond was starting sooner and I really wanted to see it. So, we went to it. It was fun. Not a great movie, but good stunts and the bad guys were very bad. Everything was very black and white, unlike things in the world today!
After the movie we went to Edoichi for dinner. It wasn't my first choice, but it was okay tonight. I ate a lot, but I don't think I overdid it too much. I may be wrong though. Fumihiko ate too much. Way too much! I was a bit worried about him actually.
I came home and checked my email and semi watched Golden Eye, another Bond movie, which I'd already seen before. It had some good parts though!
Well, I'm off to work tomorrow. Poor me. I'll be a busy beaver too. I have 7 lessons...sigh. Not much I can do about it now. Night night!
