Rainy and a bit cold all day.
I had a wonderful sense of deja vu this morning when I looked at the newspaper. I opened it to the sports page and there was a picture of Wayne Gretzky back in an Oilers uniform. What a wonderful moment! I was momentarily very happy. There had been an outdoor game featuring some of the hockey greats in Edmonton. I'm not a big sports fan, but I really wish that I'd been there too!
In other things today, I had to get up very very early this morning as poor Fumihiko had to go to work.We were up before 7...those of you who know me, know that's pretty unusual! Still, it wasn't his choice. He dropped me off at the apartment where I promptly turned on the heater and took a nap.
I woke up half an hour later to some beeping. My heater had run out of kerosene so I had to fill it! I did that and then I went back to sleep. I did manage to get up earlier than I usually do, but I had to do two loads of laundry and that takes a lot of time.
I road my bike to work in the rain, it wasn't much fun! Still, I got there in one piece, so that was good.
Work was fine today.I had a very quiet day, 3 of my classes cancelled. I was a bit sad, because that is a lot of cancellations for one day, but I do know that at this time of year it is really busy. My other classes went quite well, which is really nice.
I finished work quite early and called my hubby to come and pick me up at the apartment. I changed and then brought in all of the school's stuff. Then I biked to the apartment. I got there just before my dear, so I gave him my back pack and went upstairs to get my clothes. Both bags of them! Oops. I left one bag there for a while.
For dinner we went to Kamerotei. Fumihiko had a coupon to get 2 plates of one food for the price of one. We had a lot of food and it was all really delicious. I really enjoyed it. Usually we have only one thing, a set menu, but today we branched out and tried new things. Yum yum!
We came home and that was it for my day. It was very good. I enjoyed it. Night night!
