October 25, 2003 - Saturday

Sunny with a bit of rain in the evening.

I had a good but quite busy day today. I woke up a bit before 10 and drank some coffee which my husband had graciously made for me. Yum. Then, I got dressed and we went out for breakfast to Gusto. It was fine.

Work was good too. I did a lot of planning in my first hour. I planned the day's classes of course, but I also planned a lot of classes for Tuesday as I will have a telephone meeting and won't have as much free time as I'd like. Then, I started to teach! Lessons generally went quite well. Attendence at this time of year isn't good, but everyone is busy.

After my classes finished, we all started to get the school ready for the party tomorrow. My dear husband even joined us. That was sweet of him. We got some things hidden for the kids and we cleaned desks and made arrangements for putting the food down. I think it'll be fun! I hope so anyway.

Then, Fumihiko and I went off and had dinner at Gyu-oh. It was good except I'm sure that we both ate too much! Following our dinner we went to the grocery store to buy some food for the party tomorrow. Fumihiko has decided to make up a nabe and I'm bringing salad and some ham & cheese roll-ups. Yay me! I have to make them in the morning though. Sigh.

I finished my Sue Grafton novel tonight..it was a good one, Q is for Quarry. I really like her style of writing. Sadly Fumihiko kept talking to me when I was reading the final chapters so I'm afraid I didn't pay as much attention to him as I'm sure he'd like. Oh well. He should know by now that if I have my nose in a book he shouldn't try to talk to me!

I'll go to bed fairly soon I think. At least I hope so. I do have to work tomorrow. And I'm yawning all over my computer! Night night...
