Warm and sunny.
A good day. I tried to sleep in this morning, but it seemed like everyone and their dog phoned us this morning. Then, our crazy neighbour started to use his power saw too, so I decided I might just as well get up for all of the sleep I was getting. Does no one but me recognize the sanctity of the Sunday sleep in? People should be ashamed!
We brunched at the Daiichi Hotel, then went shopping for a stove. We got one. Fumihiko dropped me off at my apartment to do laundry and then he went to install it and visit his car dealership.
I laundered, pilateed (is this a word?), showered and then did some packing up. I didn't do a lot, but it was a start! When Fumihiko finally came to get me we delivered the stuff to the new apartment and then we went for dinner.
After Kamerotei we went to the Mall. We had planned to see a movie, but we missed one and although we could have stayed on and watched the late show, ended up driving back to Tsuruoka. On the way, I suggested going to karaoke, so we did. We went to Maimu and had a blast for an hour. We sang lots of stuff, I tried a lot of songs for the first (and last) time, but some I really enjoyed. I hear a lot of new music, but I don't always know who sang it.
Then we came home and had some tea from Sado. It was nice, a mixture of gold, ume and kombu. That would be gold, pickled plums and seaweed to non Japanophiles! Fumihiko is now trying to get off to dream land and I'll hopefully join him soon.
Nighty night!
