Clear but cool all day.
A pretty good day. I woke up this morning, one minute before my alarm went off! That was cool. I put on a sweater and filled up my kerosene tank. I might have had enough to last the morning, but I'd rather fill it up in the daytime when I can see!
I made my usual cheese omelet with a twist. I added some of the crockpot veggies to it. Yum. It was great. As I'd prepared lunch yesterday, I didn't have to cook it today. That saved me a lot of time. Yay me!
Work was fine today. I had two classes in a row off the bat, then a break, and then another big break. During my second break I wrapped the Pass-the-Parcel parcel, I'm up to 17 layers now. I have a couple more to go!
Classes went well today and in my last class especially, the discussion was great. We talked about a dinner party and who we'd invite, if we could ask important people from now and history. I chose Shakespeare and Jane Austen. My student chose John F. Kennedy, Abraham Lincoln and a Japanese writer. I don't remember her name but she's on the new 5000 yen notes.
After work I left the school and went to the grocery store. They really didn't have anything that I wanted! I got some salad for the next too days, but nothing for my dinner. Sigh.
I was going to make pancakes when I got home but realized that would throw out my egg count for the week! If I get more eggs tomorrow I might have pancakes for dinner tomorrow night! What I did have was tuna salad and avocado with a bit of cream cheese on a crispbread. It was great.
And, of course I watched a movie tonight too! It was pretty good. It was Eight Legged Freaks. It was quite cool. It was a bit like Tremors without Kevin Bacon. David Arquette was fine, but just not Kevin Baby!
I prepared a couple of presents to send overseas to people as well. I hope I can get them sent off tomorrow. I hope!
