Rainy and wet all day. Now a bit of snow in the mix.
A good day. This day I slept in a bit and then got up, showered, cooked my lunch and then went out with Fumihiko for breakfast. We went to Gusto, which has changed their menu a bit. I had my usual Hamburg Grande though!
Both Fumihiko and I were feeling bad. He decided to go to the doctor today after he took me to work. I, strange person that I am, hate doctors and refused to go!
I didn't have a lot to do at work today. I had one lesson cancel and in another a student showed up a bit late. Most of my paperwork is done and so I had nothing to do. I did a bit of decorating and planning, but not a lot.
My co-worker went home late today. She wasn't feeling well, and looked really sick too. I felt bad for her. She couldn't contact all of her students so when they came I had to explain to them that she had to go home.
After work tonight I hightailed it out of the school and went to the Bonnenkai, or year end party. This one was for adults and was very small. We had 10 people come. Most were my students or my ex-students, so it was fun for me. The party was at Shimi's downstairs. We had fish nabe, sashimi, cooked fish, tempura and some sushi too. I didn't eat the last two dishes, but Shimi was nice enough to make me some grilled chicken and veggies. Yum. Thank you Shimi-san.
Around midnight people began leaving and when it got to midnight I said we should go. After all, people like Fumihiko have to work early the next day. We shared a taxi with one of Mika's students and then came to our lovely abode. We drank some decaf coffee and now Fumihiko is doing the bath thing.
It was a pretty good day. I'm going to try to post some of my pictures here I think. If anyone objects to their picture being here, let me know!
