Warm and sunny day, with a bit of cloud. A bit muggy too.
Generally a good day. I was having such a good time with my email last night that I stayed up a bit late and didn't sleep enough. I had a hard time getting up this morning.
At the apartment this morning I watched State of Grace and worked on my puzzle for a bit. Then, I took a nap. Later, I cooked lunch and my breakfast. It was good today.
I walked to work and be-bopped again to my iPod. That IS the greatest invention in the world. As an Atkins-er I can say it's even better than sliced bread. Ha ha.
At work I prepped classes, but I wasn't very busy. Two of my usual classes had canceled..all with good reasons so I had lots of time. I started re-writing some paperwork, so I must have been a bit bored.
The classes that I did have were okay, and I finished before Fumihiko called me.
I wore one of my new things from Canada today, a black and cream two piece dress.I looked pretty sharp, if I say so myself! I'm trying to decide what to wear tomorrow right now. Sigh.
Fumihiko and I went to Dan for dinner tonight. It was great. We had our old standbys with a new favourite, steamed asparagus. It was yummy. I really like the rotisserie chicken and of course the eggplant with garlic sauce.
We came home and I watched Monk and read email. That's about it. Not an exciting day, but an okay one. Gotta go.
Oh, wow, I just realized that today was the 4th anniversary of the day I moved to Otaru. I remember crying desperately on the plane and only having one tissue. It was soaking wet. I really didn't want to leave Tsuruoka at that point, but now I'm glad that I did. I met so many nice people in Hokkaido and really enjoyed my trips to Sapporo as well.
