Today was "D" day for me. Today I had one of my teeth filled. It feels okay, and it didn't hurt at the time so it wasn't too too bad. Now it feels a bit painful and I took a painkiller so I hope it'll feel better soon.
This morning I went off to Whyte Ave, had breakfast at Mcdonalds, then I went to the dentist. I really like my dentist, she's really friendly and not scary. If anyone in the Edmonton vicinity would like to see her, just let me know!
I did a bit of shopping on Whyte both before and after my appointment,and then headed to Southgate. Well, I spent quite a bit of money there! I got a new pair of sandals for the summer, some more lingerie, and a new skirt. I think I'll keep this one for our Christmas Party, it's quite dressy. I didn't get myself a denim skirt that I was interested in. Also at Southgate I had my eyes tested. The Opthamologist told me that I don't really need glasses yet, but I would in a bit. She also told me that my left eye does most of the work, as it's stronger than my right eye. I had no idea.
I went to Millwoods Town Center to check out the stores. I bought a few things, but really, not that much. I'm starting to worry about where to put all of my stuff! I think I'll have to mail some of the food to myself!
Oh, one of my friends is also a member of Bookcrossing.com, a growing internet book club. With this club, you release books into the wild in the hope that someone will pick them up, read them and make an entry on the internet, and then release them into the wild again so someone else can read them. When we were out the other day she released a book and today someone found it! Too cool. In Tsuruoka it's a bit hard to be a member as there aren't that many people who read in English, but I can try can't I?
And finally, tonight was the finale of Friends. It was good, but not as good as I had hoped. I won't spoil it for anyone that hasn't seen it yet, but it was quite sweet but could have been funnier.
And that's it for me. The next few entries might become a bit erratic as I will be getting ready to leave soon. Still, you never know, I might be here tomorrow! Night night.
