Rainy and cloudy off and on all day.
Last night after work we spent the night in the new apartment. It was really nice, except we had a rude awakening at 9 something am. Fumihiko had parked in the wrong place and he had to move his car Right Away. Nonsense. He doesn't even get an official parking space. I'd like to know how that happened.
Right now I'm feeling a bit better jetlag wise, but a bit worse cold-wise. I might have finally caught my sister's cold/flu thing that she had. My throat is killing me and my body feels all achy. Sigh.
After we got up this morning we went to Sakata to the Hotel Rich for their buffet lunch. It was really good, and even really good for my diet for a change. They had lots of plain meat and salad so I could eat very well.
After brunch we went to some of the stores in Sakata. I found a lot of things I wanted at the hundred yen shop, and visited a couple of second hand stores. We left them empty handed, but that's okay. We went back to the apartment to take our stuff back and took a nap for a while.
Then, we went to the Washington Hotel for dinner. Fumihiko had the steak set while I had just steak with some veggies. Mine was good. By this time my throat was getting worse and swallowing was becoming painful. Fumihiko kept trying to force more food on me, but actually, I really didn't want any.
When we came home he watched a bit of a dvd and I did some of my long-put-off email. It's been a while for some of it. Now I'm just going to post this and I think I'll take my achy old self to bed. Night night.
