Clear, warm and sunny all day.
It's a bit late as I write this, but you'll have to forgive me. I've had a busy day! This morning I got up late, around 10:30 ish and did laundry. I also made breakfast...pancakes...and cleaned the house! I was busy. I cleaned the toilet, vacuumed the apartment and did a bit of tidying up. I also turned my computer desk around. The way it was before I always had my back to the living room and felt a bit cut off from the Fumihiko when he watched TV.
Oh, and as a follow-up to last night's fight, we made up. When he took his bath I put on Oscar and when he finished his bath he came and watched it too. He really enjoyed it. I thought it was a great funny movie. Who knew Stallone could be so funny?
So, back to today. When I finished cleaning I went out to Athena, a shop not that far away. I got a lot of stuff for Christmas presents and a couple of things for my apartment. I've been looking for a cream jug for a while, but I could never find one. I have one now. Yay!
I came home and Fumihiko arrived home soon after that. He was hungry so we decided to go out. We went to the Washington Hotel for their all you can eat special, but they were full and we didn't have a reservation. So, we made one for tomorrow and then went to the Daiichi Hotel for their buffet!
When we read the menu outside we made a mistake. We thought the Asian buffet was only on the weekend, and we had to have an ordered entree. Well, we ordered our entrees and were told we couldn't eat from the full buffet. Huh? Still, we had salad bar, dessert, coffee and tea, plus soup and the main dish so I think we did rather well! I had tandori chicken. It was very good, but it wasn't really Tandori Chicken. It tasted a bit like curried chicken. I had salad and some of their appetizers but skipped the cake for dessert and had a little bit of fruit. I was fine. Fumihiko over-ate as usual. I worry about him sometimes!
We shopped a bit in the mall. I got myself 3 dvds...they were on sale so really cheap. I got Hot Shots part 1 and Part Deux. I also got A Walk In The Clouds because I think that is the most wonderfully romantic movie.
I picked up more wrapping stuff for Christmas at the 100 yen shop then we came home. We did discuss karaoke, but we were both tired, so we just came home. I put on Hot Shots and watched that while I wrapped many, many Christmas Presents. I don't usually do it in one fell swoop like I did tonight, but it was fun. Fumihiko laughed all the way through the movie and then took his bath.
I was still wrapping when he finished and he was feeling less tired so we decided to watch Part Deux. It was hilarious. We were both laughing a lot. I found a few new things to laugh at...background stuff.
I finally finished my wrapping, then I cleaned up the stuff. Fumihiko is now sleeping on the couch. He's out! He's tired poor thing.
I haven't given him his birthday present yet. I usually give it to him at night, but tonight I decided to wait until tomorrow. I still want to get him something really nice!
And that was my day. It was pretty good. I had a nice time ranting while I was cleaning, but when I left the apartment I felt much, much better!
