Warmish, and clear.
A great weekend. I had a good time in Sendai. I shopped till I dropped, almost literally. I was lucky to find a book sale at Maruzen books so I got 9 books for 500 yen or less. Wow! I got some regularly priced books too. I also got magazines, a couple of stamps, a couple of dvds and today some clothes too. Yay me.
The hotel I stayed in wasn't great, but it was okay. I'd have prefered something a little more luxurious, but I couldn't find one. Still, it was mostly clean and in a good location.
Today I checked out of the hotel just before 11, did a bit of window shopping, and then I went for brunch to Milky Way. It was nice actually.
I did a lot of shopping today, but not heavy stuff. I didn't buy any books, but I wanted to. I couldn't find a magazine that I really like but I tried. I went over to The Mall to find it, but they didn't have it either. I did buy myself some tea and some clothing at The Mall though. That was nice! I couldn't get myself a coat though. I tried on a nice one, but it was just too tight, so not worth it. Sigh.
I had dinner at Bikkuri Donkey and then picked up my suitcase from the hotel, and went to get my coffee. I always pick up some decaf coffee at Starbucks. Then, I went to the bus. I sent Fumihiko a mail telling him that I was on my way, and got on the bus.
I slept and read on the way back. It was quite a nice trip. Fumihiko met me at the mall in Tsuruoka, with a new car.
My darling had had a car accident today. It wasn't his fault by the sound of it. He was hit by a co-worker who was trying to push or pull Fumihiko out of some ice or something. Anyway, his real car is getting fixed, and he has a tiny little loaner right now!
We had a bite to eat at a ramen shop. I had stir fried veggies and Fumihiko had ramen of course! Then we came home and I unpacked.
Fumihiko is exhausted. He's already half asleep on the couch. I'm playing the soundtrack for The Phantom of the Opera on my computer.
I'm home.
I had a great time.
I'm older, but I don't feel it yet.
Night night!
