Rainy, then snowy.
An okay day, even if it didn't start out that way. When it was time for Fumihiko to leave for work this morning, he was still in bed sleeping. I woke him up, he got up, but then went back to bed right away. He said he'd call in sick today. So, I got up and took out the garbage, because it has to be out before 8:30!
When I came back in I napped on the couch and told him he should see a doctor. He said that he would, but after he drove me to work. Silly guy! Anyway, I did all my morning stuff and then went to work. It was raining so I was really happy to take Fumihiko's offer up.
I wasn't bored today at work. Really! I only had four lessons, but I had to prep three of them a little, and then teach them. So, not too bad at all.
After work Fumihiko picked me up and we went to Gusto for dinner. Then, we went to the grocery store and picked up a few things. After that, we came home and caught the tail end of The Mummy. Brendan Fraser is so cool.
And, since Fumihiko went to the doctor and got about 95 different medicines he says he feels better. I think it's the placebo effect personally, but I can't say that to him. However, if he's better that's a good thing!
Oh, and one more thing. Today I got 4 Christmas cards from my friends in Canada! Wow! What a treat! I was surprised that they all arrived at once though. That seemed a bit strange, but they were all sent just before Christmas. Still, it's lovely to hear from my old friends. I really miss them all. I was trying to explain to my hubby tonight that my friends are all important to me for different reasons, and we are all friends in different ways. One of my old friends is a bookworm like me and we often read the same books and talk about them. Another friend and I used to chase guys together, she knows all my old secrets and I know a few of hers. And yet another friend and I have been buddies since high school. I need all of them in my life for different reasons. Know what I mean?
Anyway, I'm off. Have a good night/day and how about dropping an old friend a note? They'd probably love to hear from you! Night!
