An okay day. I had a lot of trouble getting up this morning. I hadn't made any plans, so I felt a bit like "Why should I?" but finally dragged myself out of bed. I did do quite a bit today. I did my laundry, then I vacuumed the apartment and cleaned a bit. Our table should arrive next week, and I needed to make room for it. We've been using a corner of the kitchen as a storage/garbage point, and that's where the table is going to go. I cleaned up the corner, put a lot of stuff out. I also unpacked the rest of my stuff from the old apartment. There wasn't much, just a few mugs and some knives that I rarely use.
Anyway, it looks quite nice now. Fumihiko promised to clean up his stuff which has mysteriously started to take up a corner of the living room.
I went out in the afternoon to go to the post office. Since the snow had melted a lot I decided to ride my bike. I did, but was followed by an election car for a bit. Sigh. They are so noisy in Japan. All they do is say the candidate's name over and over and thank you.
After I finished sending my stuff at the post office I came home. I had planned to go shopping a bit, but it was raining so decided to just stay home.
Fumihiko was late tonight. He came home after seven. After a bit we decided to go out for dinner. We went to the Evil Place, and then bought groceries at the store near there.
We came home and had some peppermint tea. Yum.
And that pretty much was my day. I'm back to work tomorrow. Sigh. If the weather's okay I'll ride my bike, if not, I'll be taking Shank's pony!
Gotta go. Night night!
