Hot and very muggy. Not that sunny
A good day. Today I woke up early. I was a woman with a mission. A woman with some laundry! I did my laundry before 10:30, and left the apartment around 10:45.
I walked to the mall and got there a scant 5 minutes after the bus had left, so I hacked around the mall a bit. I realized along the way that I hadn't eaten yet, so I bought some cheese at the grocery store and wolfed it down while waiting for the bus.
The bus ride was uneventful and I got to the mall in lots of time. I tried to have something else to eat but all of the restaurants were in mid-noon rush and had line-ups outside. I got some sunflower seeds at the grocery store and was happy to see one of the old Tsuruoka Jusco workers at the checkout. She was one of the nice ladies in Jusco.
I went to see Batman Begins again, and made it through the whole movie this time! No bathroom breaks. Yeah. I enjoyed it. I swear, if they filmed Michael Caine reading the telephone book, I'd pay to watch it. He's amazing.
After the movie I hacked around, had a light meal at McDonalds, then did a bit of "window" shopping. I picked out a new suitcase for myself, then did more cashless shopping! I did buy myself some socks and vitamins.
When Fumihiko came I showed him my suitcase and I changed my mind a bit. I had picked a yellow one because it was bright, but we decided it would get dirty too easily, so I bought the last navy blue one. It's small, but it's expandable so I can fit lots of stuff in it. A good thing for shopaholic me.
We ate dinner at a restaurant at the mall, and then went to see Hitch. We both really enjoyed it. It was fun, and quite funny. Most of the movies that we've seen lately are serious, so it was nice to see a comedy for a change.
After the movie we bought some ground coffee at Seattle's Best and then came home. For some reason I became convinced that it was Monday, and turned on the TV expecting ER. Of course, it's only Sunday!
Fumihiko is off to Yamagata tomorrow for an overnight stay. I was planning to go somewhere, but now I think I'll just stay home! I haven't had a day in for a while and I'm going away next weekend too! So...a fairly quiet day sounds good.
Gotta go. If I don't get to bed soon, hubby will never go. Men!
Night.
