Clear but cool.
A good day. It wasn't raining this morning when I went to work. That was wonderful! Recently every morning I got soaked on the way to work.
Classes went well today and I enjoyed them. That's important. I think the students have more fun if I'm enjoying myself. In the kids class we all sang a song, and the kids really sang along too. I was thrilled. They did that once before, but this one they really liked too. Yay.
On my lunch hour I went to Jusco to bid the store a fond farewell. I've been shopping there for the last 8 years, and it closes tomorrow. I finally went upstairs and bought some wool for my shawl. I didn't get the colours I originally wanted, but I did get 3 nice ones. I got 3 shades of blue. Hopefully I got enough wool to make the shawl that I want to try.
After work, when I went to phone Fumihiko I realized that I'd forgotten to bring my phone. I hoped that he'd call the school at some point, and he did. Hurray. He picked me up and we went for yakiniku. It was nice tonight. We didn't overeat.
While we were eating I took a shot and asked Fumihiko if we could go to karaoke afterwards. He surprised me by saying yes, so we did. The first place we went to looked really busy, so we went to another box and it was okay. We stayed there for 2 and a half hours. I sang a lot, and it was great. I sang "Big Spender" just for him, in a very seductive way and he was quite impressed! I also did a lot of oldies and a few from recent times. In any case, I really enjoyed myself. I think Fumihiko did too. We left around 1:30 and came home.
And that was my day. It was pretty cool. Anyway, I'll talk to you tomorrow if all goes well. Night night!
