Sunny, with a bit of rain in the evening.
I'm back! What a trip though.
The flight back to Japan seemed to last forever. I had an okay seat, I was right by an emergency exit and that meant I didn't have any place to stow my stuff, except for above my seat. That was a pain. However, I did have lots of leg room and I could easily go to the washroom so that wasn't too bad.
I cleared customs easily, put my bags into the delivery service and took off for the hotel.
I had a nice room there. I called my hubby and then I had dinner. It was a Hawaiian buffet. There was some interesting stuff, but it was good too. The spicy chicken wings were really hot though. When I finished dinner, I went back to my room and slept.
I woke up a few times during the night and finally around 6 am decided to just get up.
I showered and then went downstairs and had breakfast. It was very nice. Buffet style again, and I had a ham and cheese omelet made for me. Yum.
I decided to catch an earlier bus to Narita than I had planned originally, but I was nervous about the change between airports so thought better too early than too late. At Narita, I was able to get on the next bus for Haneda, and away I went!
At Haneda I checked my backpack and then went shopping! I didn't buy very much, honestly, I got a magazine and a book. I also picked up some Totoro/Kiki things for a certain niece of mine.
The flight back to Shonai was really quiet. There weren't many people on the plane at all. I read, and for once it wasn't a bumpy flight. Fumihiko was waiting for me at the top of the stairs. I think he didn't think I was coming back! I went down to the luggage carousel and grabbed my backpack and then met my hubby. He was trying to be all Japanese and not hug me, but Heck with that, I grabbed him and gave him a good ol' hug and kiss!
We went to the mall for coffee. We discussed going to a movie, but didn't, then just came home.
Later we went to Jiro for dinner, where I had chicken saute (yum) and then we went out for groceries.
I couldn't write my entry last night as I was too tired, so we just went to sleep.
