Cloudy but no rain.
A busy day. I got up this morning at 10:00 ish and started to do laundry. My plan was just to do laundry and not get dressed for a while. Well, I realized that I didn't have any laundry detergent left, and I had a ton of laundry to do. My dear husband must have used up the last of the detergent! I got dressed and went to the grocery store to pick some up and to pick up some lunch too! I bought some chicken, salad and fish.
I came home and got stuck in on my laundry. I ended up doing about 5 loads! My poor machine. It did very well though. Throughout the day, I ate lunch, finished my novel and unpacked! Yes, I really did.
I went through my drawers and threw out a few things that were old or ripped or stained and I couldn't clean them. I basically made room for my new stuff. I also folded all of the stuff in my drawers too instead of just throwing stuff in.
It was fun finding some of my stuff again. Even though I've only lived here a year, it seems like I haven't seem some of my old shirts for a while.
Fumihiko came home a bit late tonight, and when he did he was tired. He'd also managed to get a few more cuts today. He is such a klutz sometimes!
We went out to the evil place for dinner, but I was pretty good actually. I just had a bit of meat, didn't overdo it tonight. Fumihiko ate a lot, but that's why he likes to go there!
After dinner we bought groceries and came home. Over coffee, Fumihiko helped me make the hotel reservation that we couldn't do last night. It was a pain in the butt, but we finally got it done. I used to work in a hotel, but I just don't understand the Japanese reservation forms.
Now we're just mellowing out. I think Fumihiko will take his bath soon, and likely we'll go to bed after that. I'm tired, but glad that I've finally emptied my suitcases.
