October 16, 2005 - Sunday

Sunny day, not cold, not hot.

Today was an okay day.. I woke up at 10:30 to an empty house. Where was my hubby? Hmmm. I got up and started laundry. He was surprised when he came back from his office to see that I was up and working!

We had lunch at the Daiichi hotel and it was quite nice. It wasn't as busy as it is sometimes, and they had some good food for me.

We did a bit of shopping around Tsuruoka today. I got some paper for my computer at one place, at another I bought a set of dishes (finally!) and at the mall I got Van's birthday presents. I came home tonight poorer, but happy.

We had dinner in Oi-ichi, and it was quite nice. We bought a few groceries and then came home and watched Robin Hood, Prince of Thieves. It was the extended version and it was interesting to see the differences. I quite liked it actually. I haven't watched the film for years. Fumihiko quite enjoyed it too as he's a big Morgan Freeman fan.

And that was my day. It wasn't bad actually. Much nicer than last Sunday. Tomorrow I have the day to myself. What will I do? I have no idea! I might go out for lunch with a friend, but I'm not sure.

Oh,....big news. While I was watching Robin Hood, I finished my shawl. In fact, I'm wearing it now. It looks okay, I just wish that I'd had some cream coloured wool instead one of the two dark colours that I used. I have oodles of wool left over. What shall I do with it? It's not enough to make another shawl, and Jusco doesn't seem to have the same wool anymore to add to it so what shall I do? I'll sleep on it.
