Hot and sunny.
A pretty good day. I managed to get up at a reasonably normal time and actually did some work this morning. Yep, I cleaned! I cleaned the toilet room a bit and I also neatened the living room up a bit. Tomorrow a repairman is supposed to come to fix our air-conditioner. The remote control doesn't control it anymore. It does, but sometimes it doesn't. It's very annoying!
I spent a lot of time on my computer again, and even finished my book today. It was Hawkes Harbor, an S.E. Hinton novel. It is tad strange. Is it about mental illness? A sailor? A vampire? An orphan? Yes, yes, yes, and yes. Well written but odd.
I went over to my school today and taught a lesson. It was so hot when I got there. It's because the big window catches the afternoon sun. It's lovely and sunny in the afternoon, but it's so hot inside. My lesson went quite well today. After class I prepared for tomorrow's interview and then I called my hubby. I wanted to know if he wanted to cook at home or go out. He chose to go out, so he picked me up.
We went to Gusto which was incredibly crowded. There were so many people. I think it was because it's the last night of Obon. Still, we had a pretty nice meal. I had chicken and popeye-egg, he had maguro on rice and udon. I think we both enjoyed ourselves. After dinner we went to the grocery store to get...groceries. I think I got almost enough for the next two nights. I'll have to get salad-stuff tomorrow or Thursday, but I'd rather buy that fresh anyway.
We came home and didn't do too much. I did net stuff, Fumihiko did a bit on his computer too. That basically was my day. It was pretty good.
Oh, wait, I have to tell you all something. My husband is in love with another woman. He really likes the character Abby on ER. (Played by actress Maura Tierney). I must say that I really prefer him liking her to his ongoing obsession with Angelina Jolie! He pretends to get me mixed up with Ms. Jolie, which is slightly funny as I'm nothing like her, but Abby is a character that I like too, so it's okay. Just as long as his liking other women stays with the ones on our TV.
Night night!
