Windy apparently!

A strange day. I got up a bit later than I wanted to, but that was okay. I didn't have any plans for today.

I checked email and did a few other things. I kept having a visitor though. Fumihiko popped by a couple of times because he was waiting to have some work done for his office.

I watched last night's episode of The Lost World. It was a good one where Margarite and Roxton get trapped in a cave. I wouldn't mind getting trapped in a cave with Roxton either. If you've never seen Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's The Lost World TV show you aren't missing too much. It's a hokey little show from Australia but I really like two of the characters. They're fun. Margarite is a con-woman, out for all she can get, but we just found out that she was a triple agent for the British during World War 1. Okay, I have way, way too much free time on my hands.

In the evening I got an email from hubby saying he'd be late. He was cooking dinner tonight too so I felt a bit sad for him.

I was surprised to find that The Green Mile was on tv tonight. It's from a Stephen King novel that I read a few years ago. I'd never seen it, although I'd always wanted to. I thought about taping it, but decided not to. If I liked it I could get the dvd, if I didn't, I didn't have to worry about it. Well, I liked it. I'm not sure that I'll get the dvd though. It's a great story and a good movie, but it hasn't gone into The Shawshank Redemption territory exactly.

Fumihiko came home around 8 and cooked dinner. He basically refused my help. He made a nabe, which was good, but not quite enough for me. We brought our dishes over to the couch and watched the movie. After I said I'd do the dishes but I had to go to the toilet first. The Green Mile is a long movie.

When I came out of the toilet room, Fumihiko was already doing the dishes so I got a bit ticked off at him. It was my job. He cooked, I was on clean up. I also think that someone doesn't like the way I do dishes. On the other hand, I HATE the way my husband does dishes so we're sort of even. I didn't talk to him for a while, but decided that I should.

Tomorrow is a national holiday again, so I've got another day with my hubby. I wouldn't mind if I could get him to make some plans but he never does. Our usual conversation for weekends and days off sound like this. (Our parts are basically interchangeable.)

"What do you want to do tomorrow?"

"I don't know. What do you want to do?"

"I have no plans."

Imagine this conversation every weekend and it becomes a bit of a problem. At least it does for me. I can make plans for myself, but I don't know what he needs to do.

Anyway, I'll try and let you know tomorrow what we do decide to do. Right now I'm still a little irritated with someone.
