Warm and sunny.
Today was a pretty nice day. Fumihiko had to get up early...really early. He'd set the coffee pot for 5 am. It woke me up I think and coming back from the toilet I woke him up! He did get up then, and went to his Mum's to take care of the dog.
When I got up, hours later...I found a note from him that he'd found his cell phone over at his mother's. Whew. Except I felt a little guilty for calling it late at night. I was trying to find it...honest. Hubby often "misplaces" his cell phone and the easiest way to find it is for me to call him.
I got up, played around with my lovely computer, then had lunch. I managed to get out of here almost on time, and before I left I even sprayed my bike's chain with WD-40. It was looking mighty rusty before I did that. On the way to my school I saw a Sheltie...a Blue Merle one. It's quite rare to see them, even in Canada, and I'm not sure if I've ever seen one in Japan before. He was a beauty. I wanted to go over and talk to the owner, but couldn't because of my lack of Japanese. Sigh.
I just had one afternoon class and then came home again. I went via the drugstore and the grocery store. I also bumped into a foreign guy that I know slightly. He's very nice, but I ditched him at the grocery store....and I don't really know why. Bad me.
I came home and spent even more time on my computer. Fumihiko came home around 7ish and promptly fell asleep on the couch. I wasn't hungry yet, so I did the computer thing for a bit, but around 9 decided to make dinner. I made up a cook-do mix. It's quite nice. I had to cut up cabbage and green pepper (I'll probably hiccup tomorrow), stir-fry them, take them out of the pan, then stir-fry pork with some long onion. After the meat was cooked, I added the sauce, then added back the veggies from earlier. It got good reviews. We also had shu-mei (bought of course!) and salad with instant miso soup. It was quite a nice meal really. Fumihiko, bless him, did the dishes for me. (And didn't break anything today!)
He emailed me some of his pictures from our trip to Tokyo at the start of this month, so I uploaded a few more to Flickr. He took more of the wedding than I did.
And that was that. He's in bed sleeping away. In fact, I had to go into the bedroom a few minutes ago and rescue his glasses. He was sleeping in them as he'd gone to read in bed. He'd also set up the coffee pot to come on in the morning with one little glitch. He'd forgotten to put any water in the pot! Good thing I know to check on him.
Anyway, that was my day. It was a bit lonely in a way, but not too bad. Tomorrow I have two classes if all goes well. I'm not sure if I'll say at my school or if I'll come home for a bit. I could do that if I want to, if I time it right.
Got to go, night!
