October 8, 2007 - Monday

Rainy most of the day.

Today was pretty good. I went to bed around 3 am, and slept in late. The funny thing was that Fumihiko slept in later than I did. He swears that he got up for a while early on, but I don't believe him!

When we got up, we stripped the bed and then took all the bedding out to the car. We had brunch at Coco's, then went over to the laundromat where we spent the next few hours. I spent a lot of time with Eldest, the sequel to Eragon. It's not bad. I'm quite enjoying it. It's very readable.

We brought our now clean laundry home and made the bed up. Yay. I'm happy that we've finally done this. I've been after hubby to take me to the laundromat for ages.

In the evening we had dinner at Togashi's. It was really nice as always. We enjoyed ourselves. After we picked up a few groceries for tomorrow and then we came home.

At home we had a quiet evening before stopping to watch Ugly Betty. I like that show. Fumihiko is in agreement with me that she really isn't "ugly". I think that's the point though isn't it?

Anyway, hubby is supposed to go to bed soon, but he's watching Smoky and the Bandit which for some reason is playing on BS 2 tonight. I'm just winding down myself. I'm tired, but happy because we managed to get through the weekend without arguing. Yay us!
