August 11, 2008 - Monday

Hot and sunny.

Today was okay. Not great, but not terrible either.

I got up before my alarm this morning. There wasn't any baseball on, but there wasn't any news on either. There was Olympics on though. Sigh. Ad nauseum.

I had a mostly quiet morning at home. In the afternoon I decided to go to the bank and the post office, but sadly I left it too late and only made it to the post office. I did do a couple of things there so it wasn't too bad. I might go to the bank tomorrow, if I get myself sorted, or I could leave it till Wednesday and include a trip to the coffee shop and a little shopping!

I came home after the post office and relaxed for a while. Fumihiko came home around 6 and we had a very quiet evening together. We fell asleep! I got up around 8:30 and a bit after 9 started to make dinner.

I started by making coffee, which was a mistake. Fumihiko had started to make coffee earlier, and had filled the water reservoir. I didn't notice and poured more water in, which promptly overflowed and ran onto the floor. The floor where Fumihiko keeps his computer. Panic ensued. I had to clean, mop and move things out of the way. The floor was soaking. Luckily his computer was okay, but there were a lot of things that got wet. Fumihiko got up to help me and finally moved his computer out of the way. I hope it's permanent!

I cooked dinner. I made stirfry with pork. We bought a veggie pack last night and I also added a onion, a zucchini, some mushrooms and some asparagus. It was really good.

We watched Medium over coffee. It was quite a good one, it had a lot of flashbacks to her teenage years.

I've been watching Sex and the City since midnight! Fumihiko watched one episode, but I don't think he liked it that much. It's not really a guy show after all!

Well, that's it for me. Tomorrow I have one evening class, but no plans for the rest of the day. Woohoo! Talk to you tomorrow and I'll tell you all about day. Night.
