DAVID CASSIDY is back in Glasgow next Sunday, but I'm not excited. I was always more of a Cliff Richard girl myself and assumed that when I grew up he would marry me. Boy, was I on a loser there. (Annie Brown, Daily Record, Glasgow, Scotland).

Pop idol David Cassidy was yesterday branded 'cuckoo' by road crew on his British tour after insisting that they call him after his pet DOG. The 51 year old singer is demanding to be called Mr Bruce - after one of his Irish Setters. (Daily Star, England UK, November 12, 2001)

"Then and Now"  was no. 36 on the official U.K. charts as of  November 4, and as of November 11 he was no. 48. After David started touring the UK the CD has started climbing again. On November 18 he was up to no. 31, but on November 25 the album has slipped to no. 49.

David on "The Other Half" on NBC
Dick Clark was out of town so they will have a special guest host - David Cassidy.  We've been informed they taped 2 shows today and a person working there got to spend a lot of time in the Green Room with him between set ups and shows.  She said he was a terrible flirt--but I think we all know that!!  Our best guess is that the shows will air on Friday (November 30) and Monday, or maybe into next week.  (Thanks to Michelle I. for this info)
