We, the undersigned, as fans of great rock and roll music, call for the induction of David Cassidy into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. |

Personal preferences aside, David Cassidy is a highly talented musician and a great supporter of the entire music industry. Why his name has been excluded from the Rock -n- Roll Hall of Fame up to this point escapes me, and his myriads of fans the world over. The few of us who have found this petition and added our names and comments to the list, say MUCH less than we feel, because we don't want to be taken wrongly. Our unwavering support of Mr. Cassidy will go on, whether "The Hall" accepts his qualifications for this honor or not. Wendy

David Cassidy has natural star quality. For more than thirty years he has put a spell on his fans. He has rocked them, sometimes chocked them but never let them down. He can still fill the theatres and make thousands of fans sing-a-long to the songs from the 70s - then number 1 hits, now evergreens that make us all young again. In the early 70s we all just looooved him - now we suddenly realise that he is even better today. His voice is better, his performance is even stronger, flirtier and more attentive and he still writes some really good popsongs. He deserves to be in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame because he finds the way into the hearts of his audience simply by being the talented and always honest David Cassidy. No bullshit - only pure entertainment!! And he is an out-and-out entertainer and performer!! Kirsten Grahndin

There is no doubt in my mind that David Cassidy is long overdue for induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. His global presence on the music scene in the early 1970s greatly influenced an entire generation. He was directly responsible for many of his fans choosing music as their profession! As the years have passed, David has never rested on his laurels but rather has stretched himself artistically time and time again. Whether it be his solo albums from the mid 70s through to today, his songwriting, live performances in concert and in the theater or producing, David never stops charming an audience and giving back to his fans! To me, this type of honor should be granted to those who have had the greatest impact on their fans and with that in mind, I cannot think of anyone one more deserving than David Cassidy! I have been a fan for about 30 years and I say it's time for all the doubters to look beyond "I think I love you" and his role in The Partridge Family and open your ears to realize what a great voice he has. "The Higher They Climb, The Harder They Fall" and "Home Is Where The Heart Is" are still 2 of my favorite albums of all time in my record collection that I still enjoy listening to. Great songs, great recording, great production and most of all great versatile performances by David Cassidy who showed that he can really sing, write and play. And he's still doing it today with as much enthusiasm. Lesser artists who don't deserve as much have been inducted. Isn't time DC got in too? Dan Querin
