To whom it may concern: Thank you so much for starting this petition! I can think of no one who deserves to be inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame more than David Cassidy. He has proved time and time again that he is a versatile entertainer that has with stood the tides of change in the music and acting industry. He continues to have a large fan base who love and support him. I have seen David on numerous occasions and I am in awe with every performance. He only gets better and better!

ANY ONE WHO CAN SURVIVE SHOBISUNESS OF ANY KIND FOR 32 YEARS DESERVES CREDIT. I'VE BEEN TO MANY OF HIS RECENT TOURS AND THE MAN IS A TRUE PROFFESSIONAL, SEXY, TALENTED, AND SMART HE IS "THE TOTAL PACKAGE" HE DEFINATELY DESERVES TO BE INDUCTED INTO THE ROCK-N-ROLL HALL OF FAME. HE'S EARNED IT. HE HAS MY VOTE FOR SURE!!!!!! THERE ARE MILLIONS WHO AGREE JUST CHECK OUT THE # OF SALES ON HIS NEW CD "THEN AND NOW" IT'S GREAT AND SO IS HE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am a huge David Cassidy fan, he was my first real crush. I thought that I would outgrow that crush but I never have. Besides the fact that David is absoultly gorgeous for a 52 year old man...he is also extremely talented....make that multi-talented. He can write, sing, act, produce, and perform! I have been to many of his recent "2002" concerts and the man gives one hell of a show. His energy is unstopable. He is playing to sellout crowds wherever he plays. And though he is not playing 20, 30, or 40 thousand seat venues and not because he can't, this is his choice. I go to lots of shows and for me it is a great pleasure to see someone I love so much in the more intamate clubs, and smaller theatres and Vegas was great, I hope he will go back again some day... EFX was the best. I think his own personal choice to do these smaller shows was an excellent choice. It I think allows him to get so personal with his fans and the audience loves that. Anyone who can survive any kind of show business for 32 years deserves credit. There is no shame in being knocked down ( who hasen't been ) despite his bad times DAVID CASSIDY is a true survivor and as a fan watching him sucseed is pure inspiration. It was great that he did EFX and at the copa but I'm sooooo glad that he is touring again. I am happy to say I have not been disapointed by any of his performances. I am a true ROCKER to the likes of Areosmith, Guns -N- Roses, The Stones, Fleetwood Mac, Van Halen and many many others to many to name. 2 things I'd like to point out here, #1 I wish alot of these bands would do the smaller venues!!!!!!! AND #2 I am very versatile, just like DAVID. I mean who says you can't do VEGAS one day and rock out yhe next. Allthough not to the extreme of the afore mentioned and definately not a heavy metal act DAVID CASSIDY CAN STILL ROCK. I think the fact that he has not only survived the business but has come back as BIG as he is deserves alo of credit. DAVID CASSIDY DEFINATELY DESERVES TO BE INDUCTED INTO THE ROCK-N-ROLL HALL OF FAME ..... THE MAN IS AN ICON. DOSEN'T THE FACT THAT HIS FANCLUB SURPASSED THAT OF THE BEATLES AND ELVIS SAY SOMTHING RIGHT THERE. PLEASE...... INDUCT DAVID CASSIDY INTO THE ROCK-N-ROLL HALL OF FAME. Dear Erik I think David Cassidy should DEFINITELY be included in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame! He was certainly an idol to me when I was growing up. My wall was literally covered with posters of him. I live in Australia and he is touring here in November this year! Although I am now 42 years old and have a family of my own... I am surprised we have to do a petition..I would have thought this was a given! A staying power in the world of music despite many setbacks, this gentleman is a class act. He is sincere in his love for his fans and has one of the very best voices I have ever heard in my 44 years. I have seen him perform live twice, as recently as last weekend and his voice is as strong as when he was 20. I would be shocked if this truely deserving man does not make it in. I have been a fan of Mr David Cassidy since the 70`s. I believe he should be given the status he has earned for all his work in entertainment and charity work he has one over the past 30 years. I have kept all my posters and vinyl albums from the 70`s and I have great pleasure from reading all the old articles. I have been able to see David 4 times in the last year, but i have vowed that the next concert tour he does in the UK, I will get to all of his concerts!!!! I have made some good friends over the last year at David`s >concerts and it is like being a teenager again!!!!
