“DO YOU HAVE TIME?”
I don’t have time to spend with you,
or live the Christian way,
surely there will come another time,
but that time is not today.
I don’t have time to spend with my family,
I must work to make my way,
there will come another time,
but that time is not today.
I don’t have time to kneel and pray,
tell my problems to the Lord?
who wants to hear things such as this,
surely not God up above?
So many times I spoke these words,
when I was young and ambitious,
forsaking the real joy life had to offer,
pursuing my dreams and wishes.
All the things I thought could wait
have slowly passed me by ,
now I can’t get those moments back,
no matter how hard I try.
I had no time for my family,
I had no time for the Lord,
now the price I am paying,
Is more than I can afford.
