Tenkaichi Budoukai

Just what is The Tenkaichi Budoukai? The Tenkaichi Budoukai is a martial arts competition involving the Best Martial Artist in the world. But just what does Tenkaichi Budoukai mean? Tenkaichi Budoukai is written completely in kanji; if we serparate the romaji according to each kanji, it would look like this: "Ten Kai Chi Bu Dou Kai". Heres a word by word explaination:

Ten - Sky, Heaven

Kai - Beneath, Under

Chi - (Number) One

Bu - Martial Arts, Fighting Technique

Dou - Way of

Kai - Meeting

"Tenka" (Under Heaven) is used to refer to "The World", as everything in this world is beneath the skies/under heaven. "Budou", means martial arts, or :The way(art) of fighting". Putting the rest together, a fairly concise translation of "Tenkaichi Budoukai" would be "The World's Best Martial Artist Tournament".


The Rules
You are disqualified if:
-Use any sort of foreign object or weapon
-Leave during the Tournament
-Kill your opponent

You lose if:
-You're knocked unconscious
-Are on the ground for a 10 count
You get knocked out of the ring
You give up

Note: In the last three tournaments, Mr. Satan is the champion, while Mr. Buu is the runner-up. Basically Mr.Satan cheats in letting Buu fight with everyone else first, and then to throw the match to Mr.Satan.




  There is a new DBZ game coming. A new game called, The Legacy of Goku for Game Boy Advanced. Its an action adventure game and also a rpg. It keeps with the events in Dragonball Z like the Saiyans comming to Earth and other stuff like Frieza too. Characters can also make their character stronger.
