Comments: Sweet and caring, Kari Kamiya, the younger sister of Tai. Kari appears in both season 1 and 2. In season 1, she is very young and is considered the "eighth digidestined." Kari's Digimon is Gatomon. Gatomon is at first a slave to Myotismon but she befriends Kari, thinking she was the eigth digidestined. But when the time comes, she shows her true powers proving she was Kari's Digimon.

In Season 2, Kari along with TK and some others continue their duty as digidestined. Her digivice transforms into a pink D-3, which opens and closes a Digi Port. Kari is very nice and hates evil. She sometimes finds herself in the Dark Ocean, a place infested with evil. Whenever Kari gets in a place with a lot of evil she breaks down but when she comes too, she's still as nice as ever.
