Ikki Tenryou, a student at Riverview Junior High School. Ikki's dream is to be the strongest and best Medafighter in the world. Along with his Medabot, intelligent robots who battle for their owner to win robattles, Medabee. But the problem is Medabee practically never listens to Ikki! His independence and hot-headedness makes him lose many robattles. Ikki's main rival is Koji, not only in robattling, but also to win Karin's heart.

Ikki faces many dangers along the way, and has to face the stupid, idiotic, hilarious Rubber Robo Gang. Medabots has a great mix of action and comedy that many kids and even adults can enjoy. But the animation can kind of get on your nerves.
