Comments: Ken Ichijouji, boy genius, doesn't use his smarts for good but rather for evil.......well at first. Ken is first known as the Digimon Emperor, an evil being who tortures Digimon and makes them their slaves, thinking it was all a game. But Ken soon realizes that Digimon are real and he had made them suffer. He quits his "job" and he also loses his Digimon Wormmon, just like he lost his brother. But Ken finds Wormmon again and they decide to join the digidestined's group. Ken got Wormmon back when he went to the Digital World. There he encountered Ryo, and of course Wormmon!

Ken still has a heart of evil and a Dark Spore in his neck which made him smart and good at sports.But now that he has friends and is no longer evil the Dark Spores are disabled and his heart is relinquished. Ken doesn't get along with Cody and he, like Kari, falls into the Dark Ocean. Since his days as the Empreror, he has become caring and loving, and knows when he's not wanted.
