Takato, an average kid who loves Digimon, finds a mysterious Blue Card. When he slashes it through his Card Reader, it goes berserk and later it turns into a digivice! At school Takato draws an imaginary Digimon, known as Guilmon! When he gets home he tries to slash his drawing and its info through the digivice but it gets stuck! But then it starts to slowly scan the information. Then a digiegg pops up on the screen! That night, Takato has a dream of a girl that had a Digimon and fought Lynxmon, by using simple Digimon Cards and a Digivice. He wakes up and notices the Digi-Egg hatched! Using the compass on his D-Power he locates Guilmon in an alley. He seems scary and is capable of shooting fire. Will he hurt Takato?
2- Digimon, Digimon Everywhere
Guilmon thankfully doesn’t attack Takato. But he does end up taking him home with him. Takato’s parents seem a bit suspicious. The next day, Takato tells Guilmon to stay at an alley until he comes home from school. But he doesn’t listen! He sneaks to school under a cardboard box. Inside the school, he runs into the principal. The principal tells him to get to class and take off the box. Guilmon doesn’t go to class, but he takes off his box! The principal thinks he’s seeing things and rings the fire alarm. Guilmon ecapes. Takato, along with the rest of the school, go to see whats up. Takato immediately recognizes the box! He runs off and starts crying, thinking he was a bad tamer. Then Henry, a student at his school, pops up with his Digimon, Terriermon. Takato is surprised at the site of another Digimon and Terriermon makes fun of Takato. Takato then goes to the school roof and finds Guilmon there! They talk about being Diigmon and Tamers and then Takato decides to find a new hiding place for him in the park. But then Renamon attacks Guilmon!!
3- To Fight or Not to Fight
Renamon and Guilmon face off in a battle. Takato is inexperienced and is losing until Henry and Terriermon break them up. Rika goes away and Takato and Henry talk in Guilmon’s hideout. Takato and Henry run into Rika in an old warehouse and once again fight. But this time Terriermon digivolved into Gargomon but iapparently it was too much for him and he aimlessly was shooting his guns. Takato and Henry manage to calm him down and Rika, who was almost hurt by Gargomon, stood in shock as she tries to calm down from the fright.
4-It Came From the Other Side
Henry makes Gargomon stand on his head to turn back into Terriermon. The next day, Henry and Takato are chased a strange fog. The fog happens to be a Digital Field with Gorillamon! Henry has a flashback to when his Dad got him a Digimon CPU game and he was Terriermon. Terriermon was hurt and Henry felt as though they were alive and he finds a Blue Card. He slashes it into his computer and Terriermon materialized into his room! *Reality* Henry Digi-Modifies one of his cards and easily defeats Gorillamon.
5- Dream a Little, Dream
Somebody has been vandalizing the school soccer field! The mysterious somebody happens to be Calumon. While they were feeding the animals, Takato and Guilmon discover Calumon. Calumon and Guilmon become quick friends. Henry and Takato go off on a search for a Tamer for Calumon. There search is unsuccessful. They discover that Guilmon and Calumon weren’t where they were supposed to be and are attacked by Vilemon! Rika comes and kills Vilemon and loads his data.
6- O Partner, Where Art Thou?
Rika and her mother don’t have a great relationship. As she walked home from school, she runs into Allomon. She almost loses until Henry and Takato save her. You see a flashback from Rika’s past, how after she won a Tournament she found a Blue Card and a lot of Digimon wanted to b tamed and how Rika got Renamon. An untamed Digimon, Impmon, confronts Renamon and tells her she shouldn’t be bullied by a Tamer. She ignores him. Renamon and Rika end up in a battle with Dokugumon and Renamon is almost dead. Rika shows that she cares about her and this causes Renamon to digivolve in Kyuubimon! Kyuubimon defeats Dokugumon and absorbs its data.
7- Now You See It, Now You Don't
Rika wonders why Kyuubimon saved her and realizes Digimon are more than bits of data but isn’t fully convinced. Takato starts noticing parts of Guilmon are disappearing. He talks to Henry about t and thinks that Guilmon might be going back to the "other side" Takato desperately wants Guilmon to stay and believes if he digivolves, he’ll be strong enough to fight it. But Guilmon fully disappears and Takato, Henry, and Rika go through an underground tunnel and save Guilmon in a white cloud before he is about to be deleted.
8. A Question of Trust
Takato’s teacher speaks of a mysterious kid scaring the adults in the park. But its not a kid, its really Impmon! All the teachers are now on patrol in the park. Wanting to make sure Guilmon was ok, he heads to his hideout. He runs into a police officer but Miss Isaji makes up and excuse and leads him home. Meanwhile, Impmon convinces Guilmon to go "play with the people in the park. Guilmon finds this form of playing boring and leaves. When Takato finds out Guilmon had been with Impmon terrorizing people he got really mad at him. Impmon insults a Devidramon and makes it terrorize the city. Together, with their friendship, Guilmon digivolves into Growlmon, defeats Devidramon and absorbs his data.
9- Not as Seen on TV
Now that Guilmon was Growlmon, the trouble was to find a way to make him De-Digivolve. They try to make him tired and de-digivolve and even praying but it still doesn‘t work. Growlmon hides in the underground tunnel in the meantime but is scared away by Impmon and his fireballs. He ends up sleeping in the park and Takato finds and him and hides him in the woods. With Henry’s help they paint Growlmon to camouflage him with the surroundings. But it rains and the paint washes off. Takato starts to cry as a rainbow comes out, and because he showed he cared, Gowlmon de-digivolved in Guilmon!
10. The Icemon Cometh
Wondering how digivolving works, Rika runs into her mother. Once she leaves., she feels a mysterious presence. Then at home she felt it again and called Renamon. Renamon said there was nothing and Rika snapped saying that she didn’t need her. She feels this presence throughout the day when finally Icedevimon kidnaps Rika!! He explains to her that she knows how she feels and she should tame him! Takato and Henry come to save her but their digimon end up frozen! They melt them and Takato uses a Digi-Modify combo and defeats Icedevimon. On the roof, checking that she was okay, Rika says that she hates all Digimon!!!!
11. Much Ado About Musyamon
At Hypnos, a digimon is trying to fight Yuggoth. He fails and is terminated. Takato beats Kazu in a Digi-Battle. Kazu wants a rematch and Takato loses. Kazu teases Takato and gets mad. Takato decides to show Kazu and Kenta Guilmon. When they got there, they scared their pants off! Again at Hypnos, the same Digimon comes back for "Round 2" and succeeds against Yuggoth. Musyamon bio-emerges and Takato and Henry face off against him. First Takato confidently steps in but later, calls Henry for help. Together they defeat Musyamon and Henry realizes that sometimes you have to fight, even if you don’t want to.
12. Divided They Stand
Rika still hates Renamon and says she doesn’t need her. Renamon goes to Impmon for advice but he gave his same old grumpy fit. She goes into a Digital Field and defeats a few Flybeemon. Renamon decides that she doesn’t need Rika’s help. Rika arrives too late to help Renmon. But then Harpymon attacks and Renamon desperately needs help. Rika arrives and realizes she doesn’t have her cards, so she stabs Harpymon with a stick and this buys Renamon sometime to defeat her.
13. Juggernaut
Yamaki interferes in Guilmon and Takato’s battle against Dark Lizardmon. He says that they are dangerous creatures and Guilmon should be contained and Takato freaks out. At Yamaki’s lab they are studying Dark Lizardmon and then disposed of him. Later on Yamaki is talking to his bosses, explaining why Digimon are alive. He tells them he created a program called "Juggernaut" which will get rid of and keep Digimon from their area, or the world. Mr. Wong sees a mysterious a man, a "ghost from his past", and the man talks about Digimon, which freaks out Mr. Wong. Yamaki activates "Juggernaut" and starts somewhat of an earthquake. Guilmon senses a Digimon coming and that is never good news............
14. Grow Mon, Grow
Yamaki’s Juggernaut plan backfires and sucks in a Digimon from the Digi-World to the real world. The kids have a hard time identifying this Digimon, but it did manage to defeat Kyuubimon and Gargomon! Finally, Takato sends out Gorwlmon, who is able to block the Digimon’s attacks until he got knocked out. The D-Power finally reads the Digimon as Mihiramon, a shark tiger Deva Digimon. Takato feels he is not worthy of being a Tamer and seems grateful when Growlmon gives him "a second chance." Takato then harnesses his new powers and creates a Blue Card. And with it he makes Growlmon matrix Digivolve to War Growlmon! War Growlmon defeats Mihiramon who is ashamed of being defeated by a Tamed Digimon.
15- Snakes, Trains, and Digimon
On her way home from a play, Rika runs into Sandiramon in the city subway! Meanwhile Takato and Guilmon are having fun with his friends. Rika alerts Henry but still can’t reach Takato Henry and Rika have a tough time with Sandiramon and Impmon, who is aware of this battle, finally alerts Takato and they dig their way down under. Underground, all three Digimon went to their Champion forms and they finally defeated Sandiramon when Growlmon digivolved to War Growlmon. Before dying, Sandiramon warns them about the 10 other Deva Digimon and that they will dominate the real world.
16- Back to Nature, Back to Battle
Takato and Henry have a class camping trip and decide to bring their Digimon along. There, they have fun until a possessed owl warns them of a Digimon that feeds on "man-made light." They don’t worry their Digimon on this and let them have fun. They run into Sinduramon , the 10th Deva Digimon, who eats electricity. He goes to the dam to eat the hydro-electric power but Growlmon and Gargomon stop him just in time!
17- Duel With the Deva
Kazu gives Henry a card which Henry finds to turn out to be a Blue Card! He gives it to his Dad to scan and Mr. Wong finds Shibumi’s Code encrypted in it but doesn’t tell Henry. Henry’s Dad discovers that Terriermon is real during a fight with Impmon. Henry and Co. run off. In the city, two new wild ones appear, Pajiramon, a sheep Deva, and Vajramon, an ox Deva. Henry uses the Blue Card to Matrix Digivolve Gargomon into Rapidmon! Rapidmon destroys Pajiramon and Vajramon. Or did he? On their way home, Rika and Renamon run into Vajramon and Vajramon asks Renamon to come with him. She follows him
18. Digital Beauty
Rika’s mother sets up a photo shoot but Rika runs out on it. Rika is still wondering if letting Renamon go with Vajramon was a good idea. Takato and Henry locate Renamon and Vajramon on their D-Power and call Rika to come along. Meanwhile Vajramon told Renamon about the Sovereign Digimon. It was Renamon’s plan to find out information all along! Vajramon offers Renamon to fight with but she of course refuses. They have a duel and Kyuubimon is almost defeated until Rika finds a Blue Card and makes Renamon Matrix Digivolves into Taomon and defeats Vajramon. Henry has a talk with his father and he tells him that in College, he and his friends created the very first Digimon (check How it All Started) and he tells him that Shibumi’s code was encrypted in the Blue Card.
19. Impmon’s Last Stand
Impmon is tired of Calumon getting all the attention and attacks some prissy girls. During his Martial Arts class, Henry asks his Sensei about the Devas. His Sensei tells him the Legend of the Devas, animal gods from the Chinese Zodiac. Renamon starts talking to Impmon as usual and Impmon starts talking and talking and accidentally lets it slip that he once had Tamers. Determined to show his strength, Impmon decides to fight Indramon, the Deva horse, who just bio-emerged. He uses his strongest attack on him and it doesn’t even phase him! Impmon gets a heavy beating and it looks as though they were about to lose him. Is the end of Impmon?!
20. Out of the Blue
Impmon loses against Indramon but is thankfully not killed. Kazu gives Takato a Blue Card that he made himself. Takto doesn’t see any point, but he keeps it anyways. Indramon reappears and Hypnos goes haywire! They send their men to try and stop him but are unsuccessful. This the Tamers go against him. When it seems all is lost, Takato uses Kazu’s "hand-made Blue Card" and it turns into a real Blue Card which lets Guilmon Matrix Digivolve into War Growlmon and he defeats Indramon with an Atomic Blaster attack.
21. Jeri’s Quest
Henry’s father and some old friends join together to figure out the mystery behind Digimon. Meanwhile, Jeri gets the crazy idea that Calumon might be her partner! Just then, Kumbhiramon, the rat Deva, appears and starts wreaking havoc on the two of them. Leomon appears and he sneds Kumbhiramon flying away. But Jeri now thinks that Leomon is her partner! Takato finds out this and calls Henry and Rika and they come down there. Kumbihiramon returns and this time he uses his Deva Clone and all of them attack Leomon. With the help of Gargomon, they defeat Kumbhiramon. Meanwhile Rika and Renamon run off to capture the mysterious boy. Jeri starts crying when she realizes that she just may not be Leomon’s Tame
22 The Boar Wars
Kazu and Kenta watch after Jeri and Calumon but the mysterious boy kidnaps Calumon! The kids run after him. Everyone’s Digimon is being badly beat. Takato lets out a shriek of anger and War Growlmon and Takato mentally become one. With their combined strength, War Growlmon defeats the oversized hog. Meanwhile the mysterious boy reveals himself as Makuramon and runs off with Calumon in a cage! The Tamers have to find a way into the Digi-World and save their friend Calumon!
23. A World Apart
Now with Vikaralamon gone, the Tamers decide that it’s time to find an entrance to the Digital World! They look everywhere until they find it in Guilmon’s hiding place! Typical! Now the hard part was to tell their parents that they’re going away. Rika’s Grandma finds Renamon and takes it well. Henry’s father understands and lets him go. But Takato’s parents weren’t so understanding. It took some convincing but in the end they let him go. Now they have to ditch school and get ready for their big journey. Just when they are about to enter the Digi-Port Yamaki appears and gives them all a little going away present!
24. The Journey Begins

25. Brave, New Digital World
Entering the Digi-Port they kids find themselves in a Data Field. After a lot of moving they finally hit the Digital World! They take a few souvenir photos and keep moving toward "satellites" but it turns out they were mountains in the shape of satellites! They run into Meramon but they soon befriend him. But then a stampede of Jagamon approach them and the kids escape but Meramon gets destroyed in rampage. in the morning, as they continue they’re search, a data stream chases them, splitting apart the group!
26- Kazu and Kenta’s Excellent Adventure
Running from the data stream, Kazu, Kenta, and Rika get sucked up by the stream and are transported to a village with huge dishtowels on their roofs. They accidentally crash into a house and are greeted by Jijimon and Babamon, an old married couple who fight for entertainment. They offer them their hospitality and they end up staying there. Next, when they are about to leave, Kazu and Kenta get the crazy idea of Jijimon and Babamon bring their Digimon but somehow the Digimon end up taming them! Rika comes and breaks it apart and they use a kite to leave the windy village, leaving Jijimon and Babamon behind.
27. Motorcycle Madness
While on their kite, the kids crash and this time decide to search on foot. Meanwhile Takato and Henry enter a strange village with junk everywhere. Then out of nowhere a deranged motorcycle with no driver attacks them! They escape and learn from the inhabitants of the village, Chuchidarumon, that the motorcycle has been terrorizing them as long as they can remember. Takato feels they should defeat for the baby Digimon. Impmon also has encountered Chatsuramon, the Deva Dog. He makes a deal that if Impmon promises to destroy Guilmon and his friends he will make Impmon digivolve. Impmon hesitantly agrees and falls into a lava pit where he digivolves to his mega form, Beelzemon. The motorcycle also falls in the pit and Beelzemon emerges from the pit, in full control of the maniacal bike.
28. Blame it on Ryo
Deciding to wait for the others near the Tamers’ flag, Kazu, Kenta, and Rika are yet again sucked up another data stream. This time they are teleported to a clock-like area. There they meet Haguramon and Clockmon but when Rika moves the stuck second hand, Megadramon appears! Kyuubimon would’ve lost the battle but Cyberdramon appears and defeats Megadramon. It turns out that Cyberdramon’s Tamer is the Legendary Tamer, Ryo Akiyama! Remembering when she lost a Tournament against him, Rika shuns him away. Ryo explains to them that Cyberdramon is an unstable Digimon who is hard to control so thats why he is in the Digi-World. Rika breaks down when Kazu says that Ryo is a better card player than her so she splits away from the group and goes on her own!
29.. Goliath
Takato, Henry, and Jeri are sucked up by a data stream and are sent to an eerie black and white town. There they run into Kazu, Kenta, and Ryo. Ryo shows them to a safe mansion where they can stay as long as they please. Meanwhile Makuramon and Majiramon, the Dragon Deva, are searching for Calumon. They notice him and just in time the Tamers leave the town into the area with Makuramon and start fighting him. Ryo sends out Cyberdramon and he is doing well. But he gets knocked out so Ryo uses a Device Card, known as Goliath and Cyberdramon defeats the Majiramon. Now that Cyberdramon has fought someone he wants more, so he is more unstable so Ryo separates from the group and goes off with Cyberdramon.
30. An Imperfect Storm
Yamaki gets Hypnos back online and when they do a huge storm rips through the Digital World. Meanwhile Beelzemon finds some Kurasarimon to fight but they digivolve into Infermon and he still destroys it. Takato finds a cave and gets an email through to Yamaki. Rika runs into Calumon and they get transported to here Takato is. Beelzemon arrives and the storm is getting worse which causes Beelzemon to run. Catsuramon appears but Takato and Henry get sucked up by a data stream!
31. Kazu’s Upgrade
The Tamers run into a battle between Andromon and a snake Digimon Orochimon. Andromon is defeated and they take him into a Geckmon house where he De-Digivolves into Guardromon. Orochimon kidnaps Jeri and forces her to serve milkshakes. Guardromon sneaks in but Orohchimon is too strong. Jeri uses a Lady Devimon card on Leomon and he defeats him. With all the excitement, Kazu receives a D-Power and now Guardromon is his Digimon!
32. Shibumi Speaks
Takato and Henry try to dig themselves out of the cave they arrived in but fail. Takato uses his Comm. Device and contacts Yamaki. Apparently everyone’s family was there! They assured them they were fine. Henry discovered that they could breathe in the water if they believed in it. There they were attacked by the overprotective Divermon who later led them to a pipe that would take them to a drier area. They find a library and meet Mizuno AKA Shibumi! He explains to them about the Digi-Nomes, the Blue Card and many other mysteries but makes it even more confusing! He then transports them into an "Arc" and watches as they are being flown to the land of the 4 Sovereigns!
33. Rabbit Transit
While playing in the park, Susie finds a Digi Port and is sucked up by it. There she encounters Digimon such as Tapirmon, Kiwimon, and the Digi-Nomes. She runs into Antylamon and they quickly become friends and play with each other, even though Antylamon was supposed to guard the South Gate. After their playtime, Susie goes off to find some food but meets Makuramon who tries to kidnap her. Antylamon doubtfully saves Susie as he is a Deva. Makuramon is knowcked out and Antylamon de-digivolves into Lopmon. Susie’s now a Tamer?!!
34. Lionheart
While socializing with each other, Henry, Takato and Susie are attacked by Beelzemon! Miles away, Growlmon hears Takato’s cries for help. They get caught in a data stream and are transported to where Takato and the others are. Kyuubimon faces off against Beelzemon and ticks him off by calling him Impmon and just as he is about to attack, Leomon holds him back. But Beelzemon stabs Leomon with his hand and kills him. Takato get super angry and Jeri breaks into tears. Takato’s anger causes Guilmon to dark digivolve into Megidramon! This new dark digivolution makes Takato’s D-Power to crack and shatter into pieces!
35. Give a Little Bit
Takato realizes that his rage had turned Guilmon into the horrifying beast, Megidramon. Beelzemon first kills Makuramon and absorbs his data and takes Taomon and Rapidmon’s data before he advances on to Megidramon. He is apparently to strong for him but he manages to knock him out of commission. Takato goes to his side to turn him back into Guilmon and is succesful. With his new hope, Takato is able to make Guilmon biomerge into his mega, Gallantmon!
36. The Battle Within
Gallantmon and Beelzemon face off against each other. Wondering where Takato is, Kenta figures out he had fused with Guilmon. Zhuqiamon orders Catsuramon to destroy Lopmon but Terriermon takes the full blow and Gallantmon finishes off the Dog Deva. When Gallantmon is about to destroy Beelzemon, Jeri stops him. Apparently she doesn’t want anymore pain. Stunned by Jeri’s sympathy, Beelzemon thinks back to when he was with his Tamers, Mako and Ai.
37. No Mon is an Island
The Tamers decide that it’s time to save Calumon and head out to Zhuqiamon’s "castle." Henry is really worried about Susie’s well being so they leave Kazu and Kenta to watch over her and Jeri. When they reach the Sovereign's land, they face off in the ultimate battle. But nobody can defeat the large turkey. Susie notices all of Lopmon and the others pain and flies away from the watch of Guardromon. Henry and Terriermon step up to the plate and they bio-merge into Mega Gargomon! Mega Gargomon destroys Zhuqiamon. Or did he?
38. Azulongmon Explains All
Zhuqiamon returns for Round 2 but the Sovereign, Azulongmon arrives just in time. They both have different opinions about humans and talk about the catalyst, Calumon. Gallantmon and Zhuqiamon do battle but Azulongmon stops them once again. He mentions the "true enemy" but nobody knows what it is, or what’s his name. Mizuno arrives and they ask him about the true enemy and reveals his name as D-Reaper! He was a program that deleted AI stronger than the parameters. The simple program started mutating and has surpassed the strength of the Sovereigns. Meanwhile Ryo and Cyberdramon meet the other Sovereign, Ebonwumon, while searching for the other Sovereign, Baihumon. Baihumon is doing battle and it doesn’t look good!
