Coming Soon:EVERYTHING! I PROMISE!

And now....

Cambot has his own page (He was beginning to complain) so click on the image above to get to it.

Gypsy!

Gyps is done, and her page of instructions is done! So check her out!

Tom Servo

The stout little automaton is done! Click on the Servo pic above or here to go to his own page!
To see my other props, go to my Doctor Who Collection/ Merchandise Page

Crooow!

Crow's page is big and bold! And there are complete instructions to build a lanky gold idiot such as himself there too!

The Moron's Guide to Bot Building

has been relocated to the respective pages of each 'bot.

Other Robot Friends (and props)!

This page has all of my other props for the movie and the "stunt" 'bots (with directions).

My MST3K Movie in progress:

When you're building the 'bots, it's too tempting to write a few skits or your own episode. The movie planned for the firing squad is "Time and the Rani". Anyone who knows Doctor Who at all knows this is a horrid movie and desrves nothing less.

"Time and the Rani" Sucks On Toast!

The Skits:

Click above to see the skits I wrote for Time and The Rani. Synopses are as follows:
Skit 1: Doctor Forrester explains the experiment, and tortures Brian and the bots a bit.
Skit 2: Crow tries to regenerate (grow a new body by killing off the old one, like in the movie) by hooking himself up to the Satellite generator, and ends up electrcuting himself. Servo is indifferent. At the end, Crow reappears, acting like Sylvester McCoy (the guy in the movie who regenerated). He really ticks Servo and Brian off by playing the spoons like Sylv McCoy in the movie (don't worry, we'll kill him again in the theater).
Skit 3: Crow and Servo dress up like characters from the movie, Crow as the unintentionaly humorous monster, and Servo as the sickeningly perky companion. they try and persuade Brian to join in their fantasies. At the end, Servo wanders into an obvious trap like the one in the movie and blows up. Crow: Pretty...
Skit 4: Crow and Servo both suffer massive system failures and die. Brian and Gypsy rebel in the only way they know how, by singing "Till We Reach That Day" from the musical "Ragtime" (I listen to too many showtunes, I know!). Anyway, Crow gets knocked out so Gypsy joins Servo and Brian in the theater. I added this skit to put something between episodes 3 and 4 and to give Gypsy a bigger part.
Skit 5: To escape from the SOL, Servo builds a TARDIS (magical transport form the movie). there's just one problem: only he can fit in it. Dr. Forrester gets mad and blows up the TARDIS as it is escaping through space.
And Lyrics to the Closing Credits Song. And The First Draft of the Credits

Mike Mulligan: Writer/Assistant Prop Diva and SOL Set Diva/"Crow"

And Yakov Smirnoff as himself (just kidding).

This project IS done, because MST3k was meant to be done on a low budget, and a (really) low budget is exactly what I have! At the time I am writing this we are into rehearsals. Any ideas, crticisms, prop ideas or just general rambling can be directed to my Email address, or if you are on AOL Instant messenger, I can be found under the name of "BestBrians"

This site is the welcome recipient of the:

Golden Gypsy Award!

and it was awarded to me by Kevin Crooow! Nelson of the MST3K Emporium. I guess he likes the props. Kevin will receive, as a token of my gratitude, a genuine hot glue stick used in my production. However, I will need to peel it off something first...

One small note of interest:
As you all know, MST3K and all of their nifty props are trademarks of BBI and are theirs by right. And this is only a fan site showing off my prop replicas, right? However, Dr. Who is not nearly as nice as BBI and has lawyers that bite so I'm definitely making this movie very low-key, and no money will be made off of it. And just to keep the record straight, BBI has not given me permission to do this.

Links:

Joe Crow- a great guy who has pictures of bots in progress and has ALL the links (and parts) you need.
CyberGregg's Bot Factory- another great site for info and parts and stuff. Look at the contributors page for pics of yours truly!
Jack Theakson on the Satellite of Love- another nice guy who has instructions on how to build a model of the SOL and who is a great botbuilding help! He has tons of parts and stuff available too.

Between these three guys, I've gotten most of my questions answered! Check them out!

Kevin Crooow Nelson- another nice botbuilder who is also doing a MST3K fan movie.
Johnny Longbow- some nice botbuilding tips here, and a great image archive of 'bots from around the web. Pictures of yours truly can be found here, as well.
The MST3K Guy- He has great pictures of all of the parts for the bots before they are modified and such. It's worth a visit just to see his bottom frame, where theater shillouettes of the bots and Joel riff on their own webpage! Check it out!

Bill's Nifty MST3K Site: This site boasts complete scans of the Gramercy MST3K:TM Press Kit and the Convention Program, as well as a respectable Botbuilding section, tape trading, etc.

MSTIES Domain: You thought they could never render the SOL in 3D. Well, you were wrong, and here there is also much botbuilding and MST fan production fun.
