I love Josie, because she gets the guy and she is not one of the skinny, waify people that Hollywood usually has in the movies. She realizes that it is okay to be different. Comments-I guess it is because it is such a romantic story. It makes you want to
believe such things can really happen, that things sometimes actually do work
out for the best in the end.
When I was sitting in the cinema watching this with my friends and Josie first
corrected someone's grammar, they all looked at me and laughed, as I have a
rather annoying habit of doing just that, correcting people. I see alot of other
similarites between the character and myself except I haven't had my happy

She is so real. Although she acts all grown up and responsible on the
job, deep down she's just a scared innocent teenager who knows the pain of Never
being kissed. I love the relatablity of this character and all that she stands
for.

1. For Drew Barrymore.
2. For achieving what I thought was impossible - making Drew Barrymore look
aesthetically challenged (c'mon, there's just no way I'm gonna use the word
"ugly" in that sentence)
3. For those flashback scenes about high school. For a moment there, you aren't
in a movie hall watching something playing out on the huge screen before you.
All you can see is some awkward moment from your own school experiences that you
wish never occured. I think above everything else barring the heroine, this is
what makes the movie work.

Well... I think this character allows us to see ourselves in a lot of
ways. Josie is very realistic! Of course, not forgetting the good looking guys
in it... I like this movie is becoz it's really fun and speaks a little truth

i think the story is very real because it takes a long time to find out
who we really are and who we should really be with. and this movie shows it all.
it even makes you cry and josie goes throught so much to find out who she really
is and does a good job at finding out. and drew does a great job at playing her
so well.

How many times have you seen "Never Been Kissed?"-once Comments- i thought it was the best teen romantic comedy ever - it definately was
the most realistic one too. i was really emotional after the movie because it
made me realise how superficial highschool really is. and how insignificant it
is in regards to the world and your life. being accepted is really important to
teenagers... the falseness of some so-called popular people irritates me and i
hope there are still some teenagers out there who are true to themselves like
Josie Geller in NBK.... she is a brilliant character that should live forever.
