I also had a mad crush on one of my teachers in school, which I have (naturally) never forgotten, so I had to grin at the plot. Isn't the storyline every girl's impossible dream come true? Think about it. A teacher is even more unobtainable than the Billy Princes out there!!! SOOOO, I suppose the movie struck a chord in my sentimental heart because I could identify. Comments- This movie is awesome! Besides the fact that Michael Vartan is REALLY cute, this movie had some great points. First, Drew was AWESOME (*she always is). She NEVER makes any trash. 2nd, the plot was so cute and "clean". No nasty stuff, really. 3rd, Josie is so "believable." EVERYONE can relate to her, even if they ACT like they're really cool, all people are insecure. 4th, the romance ROCKED!! I am a hopeless romance freak (sigh), and so I love any story line with a sweet romance. The chemistry was absolutely PERFECT!! 6th, (I know I go on forever!) there is no sexual garbage that you see so much (aka I love Josie's policy about waiting for "special someone", and then staying together forever). Lastly, the characters were all SO FUNNY! The BEST movie this year, BY FAR!

It is a great movie because it tells you that despite everything there is a Prince Charming out there who will accept you for you, not your looks. Comments- I have loved the movie since the day i saw it. I remember how the movie made me feel, it was perfect. It was so wonderful, Drew Barrymore brought out sadness and heartache Josie felt for so long after high school. And she brought out the joy and love Josie felt for Sam and Guy(i still thought she liked him), and even Billy Prince. The article "she wrote" was so deep, so heartfelt, almost brung me to tears. The movie also brought on a major crush to Michael Vartan(actor who plays Sam) Which i still have to this very day. I must say I m in love w/ this movie, i bought it the day it was released and bought the soundtrack as well. I adored LeeLee Sobieski, even though she was called alpo, she had a heart almost identical to Josie's, open , caring w/ hopes and dreams. She befriended Josie , no questions asked(i quote) took her out, helped her with her car, welcomed her to the denominators, welcomed her w/ open arms, Josie would have been "killed" without her help.This movie has it all and I recomend it to everyone i know (even if i do not know u rent or buy this movie) . It will show u the meaning of love and how it changes everything.

Comments- She is so sweet and you really feel for her during the "egging" when she was about to leave for her prom. I cried at that part because she was tricked and it was cruel. You also feel for her when she says to Sam "Please don't walk away" because (I don't know if you noticed) but when he turns away and she says that, she looks so vulnerable, but when he turns back around, she tries to pull herself together again. It's just so sad and sweet at the same time that she doesn't want to fall apart in front of him! The kiss at the end is the best part. I must have rewound that part more than 20 times! :), Aisha

My fave movie star acts in NBK in a movie i can TOTALLY relate to.. i love how josie grossie thinks about how important it is to have a first real kiss by that someone special cos she's soo right! Drew was so pretty in the end.. Comments- Well I think that it's the story line that made me fall in love with this movie. Not cause she falls for her teacher, but that somewhere in the world there really is a match for us all. It made me realise that somewhere in this world there is someone who can complete me and make me whole. It may take me a while to find him but by following my heart I know it will lead me to him. Plus I totally fell in love with Michael Varten!!! He looks a lot like the guy I'm dating at the moment!
