It is a sad day in the world of Denim. Today my favorite pair of Blue Jeans were retired. Before being thrown away, the jeans suffered from several holes, including one on each knee and two in the back. A beautiful ceremony was held and attended by me and my cat in the kitchen. Words were delivered by me, the song “I Can’t Dance” by Genesis was played, and then a snack was provided from the refrigerator. These jeans were the perfect pair and will never be matched by any other. They will be dearly missed.
