วัตถุประสงค์
หลังจากศึกษาเนื้อหาในเรื่อง Simple Future Tense แล้วนักศึกษาเข้าใจและสามารถตอบคำถามในเรื่องต่อไปนี้ได้ถูกต้อง

โครงสร้างประโยค Simple future tense

ประธาน	will	base form
She	will	go

หรือ

ประธาน	be + going to	base form
She	is going to	go

ตัวอย่างลักษณะประโยค

ประโยคบอกเล่า	ประโยคคำถาม	ประโยคปฏิเสธ
I (will/shall) work	(Shall/will) I work ?	I (shall/will) not work.
You will work	Will you work?	You won't work.
he, she, it will work	Will he, she, it work?	He, she, it won't work.

หลักการใช้ simple future tense


yesterday	today	tomorrow
อดีต	ปัจจุบัน	อนาคต

ใช้กล่าวถึงสิ่งที่จะกระทำในอนาคต อาจจะเป็นคำสัญญาหรือการวางแผน

A: When will you call me again. เมื่อไหร่คุณจะโทรถึงผมอีก
B: I will call you again tomorrow. ผมจะโทรถึงคุณอีกพรุ่งนี้

A: Where is Tom going to spend his summer vacation this year?
ปีนี้ทอมจะไปพักร้อนที่ไหน
B: He is going to spend his summer vacation in Thailand.
เขาจะไปพักร้อนที่ประเทศไทย

หมายเหตุ ไม่ใช้ simple future ( will ) กับอนุประโยคบอกเวลาที่ขึ้นต้นคำดังต่อไปนี้ เช่น "when", "while", "before", "after", "by the time," "as soon as," "if" and "unless."
When you will come back, we will go out together. ผิด
While you will come back,   ผิด
Before you will come back,   ผิด
By the time you will come back, ผิด

Active Voice / Passive Voice

ACTIVE:      Tom will finish the work by 4:00 PM.
                              ทอมจะเสร็จงานตอนสี่โมงเย็น
PASSIVE:   The work will be finished by 4:00 PM.
                             งานจะเสร็จตอน สี่โมงเย็น

ACTIVE:     Mary is going to cook a dinner tonight.
                            แมรี่จะทำอาหารเย็นคืนนี้
PASSIVE: A dinner is going to be cooked by Mary tonight.
                            อาหารเย็นจะถูกทำโดยแมรี่คืนนี้
