Clay Withrow

President/CEO Editor-in-Chief

Clay started Grindhouse Games as a means of verbally abusing software stores. The site slowly evolved into the dinosaur it is now. He spends much of his time scouring the net for gaming news but when he finds none he is content with a game of Super Mario 64. He enjoys playing many games at one single time only to burn himself out of a genre and he enjoys pissing in hallways. Clay has a fine taste for import beer and wine and can't stand drinking "Trailer's Best" beer. He is always on the lookout for new "drinking beer while playing game" combinations and is very generous in his acceptance of new party games. Clay started playing games on his brother's Intellivision when he was a wee-tyke back in 1986. Soon enough his parents bought him a Game Boy in 89' followed a few months later by the NES console. Since then Clay never lets a good game pass him by. He lets millions of bad games pass him by unless he needs a cover story then he busts out the PSone. Recently Clay is attending the University of Oklahoma and loves everyday of college life. Clay says, "High school sucked but college is much better". He will always stay committed to bringing unbiased violent attacks on Microsoft and Sony while appearing humble and citizen-like. He also finds himself having to constantly bug Michael about writing up a "new" review.

Current Favorite Games:

  1. Hiding Under the Sheets
  2. Zelda: Oracle Series
  3. Spider-Man (Any System)
  4. Pikmin
  5. Conker's Bad Fur Day (Amen)

Contributing Editor

Michael started his illustrious carrier at GHG only a few short months after it was established. Clay came to him with the idea of improving the site and having more talk about beer implemented. Even though Michael doesn't drink he agreed and thus the Grindhouse legacy truly began. When he's not writing a review for Jet Grind Radio he is going to school at the University of Central Oklahoma where he is getting his degree in journalism. He also assist helpless kids in grammar and basic English on the side as a tutor. He loves Tekken, Deus Ex and other games that Clay doesn't play but he never strays from the road of quality. He loves his little cat and Clay hates it because it makes him sneeze.
