05/15/2001 01:01:46 AM May 14 Duke Nukem and Planet Harrier to GamecubeIGN Cube revealed that Sega's Amusement Vision team will release the home version of "Planet Harrier" to the Gamecube. Although details were sketchy the bottom line was that Gamecube could more than handle the graphics. Also IGN ran a special on Take-Two's new game Duke Nukem Forever and how it would be ported to Gamecube and Game Boy Advance. I don't know if this is an exclusive agreement between the two companies but more will surface on Wednesday. Source: IGN Cube
Luigi's Mansion Revealed!The big news over the weekend and today was the Time.com article concerning Nintendo's Gamecube. Supposedly they got a "hands-on" preview with Luigi's Mansion, Waverace: Blue Storm and Rogue Leader and their reaction was more than positive. They said the lighting in Luigi's Mansion was far superior than anything before it and will shamelessly prove how powerful Nintendo's new system is. They also revealed how incredible the graphics on Waverace were when examples like "foam and water drops on the camera lens" were thrown out. May 12 GameCube Logo Molested...I Mean Seen!Wow. I've haven't witnessed a Saturday like this since Space World. Updates and more updates! IGN and Planet Gamecube revealed the new Nintendo logo tonight. It is very original and marketable. It almost looks like the N64 logo but a little more nihilistic in its appearance. I for one love the logo and can't wait to see it slapped on my upcoming GC titles. Also the new controller was seen courtesy of some reconnaissance work by Planet Gamecube inside the LA Convention Center. You can check out the mock-up at IGN Cube.
May 10 USA Today NewsIn a report by USA Today they revealed price plans for Nintendo's GameCube at about $200 or less. Also expect Nintendo to have 36 games on display at E3 including Mario and Zelda according to the report.
Rogue Leader: Rogue Squadron 2Yesterday the popular magazine Next Generation printed the first screenshots of a GameCube game in action. The game was Rogue Squadron 2 and featured incredibly sophisticated graphics. The game uses true to scale models from the original films for the first time ever. May 9 EA Lets the Load OutEA drops the bomb and reveals ten games in development for the GameCube. The titles include SSX, Madden, FIFA 2002, James Bond and Harry Potter are among the few. This is great news especially for FIFA fans. Damn I can't wait for launch!
May 8 Turok 4 @ E3?You heard right my strange but lovable friends, Turok 4 may be at E3 next week courtesy of Acclaim. Do we need another Turok? I mean we have Perfect Dark and now Metroid so is it necessary to pull another Turok out of our ass? Maybe so people because remember how fun Turok 2 was? Just you wait! May 7 Major 3rd Party Support @ E3Planet GameCube revealed some juicy rumors yesterday about Nintendo's 3rd part appearance at this year's E3 in Los Angeles. Supposedly we'll be seeing a ton of games such as Metal Gear Solid 2, Marvel vs. Capcom 3 and many others. Expect a few from EA like Madden, SSX and NHL 2002. Maverick games will include Megaman, Phantasy Star Online, Jet Grind Future, Dragon Warrior and even a surprise game from Square. Later this week we'll have more updates on this rumor but until then check out the rest of the squirrelly news you bastard.
Capcom Pulls A Ghoul Out of Its PantsTendo Box and Planet GameCube revealed secrets of Capcom working on a project known as GNG4. All of us old school Capcom fans know this translates into Ghouls n Ghost 4 and that's exactly what GameCube will be getting this fall. We'll have a hands-on impression next week so stay tuned into Grindhouse for this new GC title.
Look At the Size of My Donkey!Rareware's website announced its plans to show the new Donkey Kong game for Nintendo's GameCube this May at E3. Recently Rare has been listening to complaints from gamers on what features they liked and disliked from DK64, a wonderfully long and arduous game. We'll get our first look next week.

Super Smash Bros. 2 is more than likely going to be playable at E3 and Grindhouse will be there to play it! What mysterious characters await us? Bowser? Kid Icarus? King Hippo?
