Troop 242 Orientation Night was presented in large by Scouts within the troop. Scouts and leaders explained what Boy Scouts and the troop are all about; from the troop’s organization to the steps on how a scout earns his merit badges and advances through Scouting. (See photos below.) Our District Unit Commissioner and Unit Commissioner attended the event. A video tape of the Orientation Night was developed for those who wish to view it at a future date.
Orientation Night was developed in 2001 as part of a Wood Badge ticket by Nancy Grubb, Assistant Scoutmaster.
