Hi! Welcome to the #Budgie-Chat homepage. I'm Cody, as most of you all know. I'd like to introduce you to the IRC channel, #budgie-chat on the IRC server, neato.ca.us.another.net. It's mostly for the people on Budgie-L, but anyone who likes to talk to friendly people about budgies is welcome! Please read my #Budgie-Chat FAQ for more details. Budgie chatters usually meet every Friday night at the following times: 8:00 pm EST 7:00 pm CST 6:00 pm MT 5:00 pm PST 1:00 pm Saturday in AussieLand 3:00 am Portugal People are usually there for almost three hours, so if you come a little late, you'll still have someone to talk to! The Operators #Budgie-Chat operators are the friendly people with the "@" by their name. They keep control of the channel, and they also have the power to kick or ban you if they find your behavior inappropriate. Here are the current operators on #Budgie-Chat: Pava - She's the one who made up #Budgie-Chat. She's a real nice person! Peeper- That's Hillary!! Carrie- Carrie is the party animal! Regina- She's a nice little girl, and sometimes she goes by the nick Reg, or even Gegina! Common IRC Abbreviations On IRC, people often use silly abbreviations. It helps to know what these all mean!
