 CoolGNU is a bundle of MP1/MP2/MP3 filters and an ACM codec for CoolEdit. It includes the very rare Syntrillium open source MP2/3 decoders, that were based on MAplay. These filters will encode MPEG Layers I, II and III. Also included is an ACM plugin that can save MP3 without WAV headers using the much sought after ACM codec version 0.9.1 of Lame MP3 encoder. This enables you to use the Lame MP3 encoding algorithms in VirtualDub, FlasK MPEG, and ac3dec. Now you can use your favorite high-quality MP3 encoder for DivX as well. This bundle includes lame.css, lame_acm.xml, lame_enc.dll, and lameACM.acm. Follow the instructions included in the zip file to install this program.
