AC3ACM

AC3ACM version 1.2 is an AC-3 ACM Codec for Windows. Basically it's an audio compression manager interface wrapped around the liba52 library and the ac3enc code. This makes it possible to preview, decode, and encode AC-3 audio in VirtualDub (or almost any ACM client). Follow the instructions included in the zip file to install this program.

AC3DEC

AC3DEC version 0.8.21 is a VOB/AC3 to WAV converter. It can also convert the file to 44.1 KhHz. This bundle includes AC3DECgui which is a Graphical User Interface (GUI) for AC2DEC. Follow the instructions included in the zip file to install this program.

AC3 Filter version 1.01a RC5 is a high quality free DirectShow filter designed for real time audio decoding and processing. It has a priority on wide functionality and convenient settings. It can decode following audio formats: AC3 / DTS / MPEG Audio. It includes DTS decoding support (including AVI/DTS and WAV/DTS), MPEG1/2 Audio Layer I/II decoding support, DVD/LPCM decoding support, audio processing for any kind of audio track, AC3/DTS/MPEG Audio SPDIF passthrough, real-time AC3 encoding for multichannel SPDIF output, per-channel gain control, and a graphic equalizer. ASPI Programs

ASPI programs enable you to detect and list the current version of the ASPI layer on your system. They also inform you if the files are correctly installed on your system. ASPI was invented by Adaptec and are required by most CD-R writing applications. Many CD Digital Audio rippers and DVD Rippers require a working ASPI layer. The ASPI layer included in Windows 9x and Windows ME is poorly written and there is no ASPI Layer included in Windows 2000. This link will show you all of the ASPI programs.

		ChapterXtractor	ChapterXtractor version 0.962 extracts the chapters' timing from IFO files. It can be used to generate part of the INI file for Micro DVD Player. You can also synchronize this result with an AVI file, so the frame number for a chapter will be the nearest key frame. This allows the fastest seeking time with the AVI files. Follow the instructions included in the zip file to install this program.
		DVDAuthor GUI	DVDAuthorGUI version 1.008b is a basic WIN32 frontend for DVDAuthor, a program that will generate a DVD movie from a MPEG2 file. The GUI is meant to be an easy means to create a basic DVD. It will enable you to make a DVD with: multiple titles, multiple titleset menus (still and motion), chapters, subtitles, multiple audio streams, and more. To install this program double click on the self executable (EXE) file.

DVD2AVI

DVD2AVI version 1.76 is a MPEG-2 decoder and supports MMX-enhanced CPU only. This program makes it possible for TMPGEnc to read the VOB files since TMPGEnc can only load one VOB file a time it does not seem to be able to read them all at once directly. It also gives you the ability to select which audio track you want the movie to have and create the appropriate WAV file for it. DVD Codec

DVD MPEG-2 Codec will enable you to play DVDs through Windows 98 DVD player and play VOB files with Windows Media Player (WMP). These filters will work completely fine for all MPEG-2 videos using WMP version 6.4. They do not work well when viewing full sized DVDs or MPEG-2 videos (e.g. 704x480) but work fine with S-VCD (e.g. 480x480) with WMP version 7.1. Eazy VCD

EazyVCD version 1.15a is Graphical User Interface (GUI) that automates the use of: BeSweet, ChapterXtractor, DVD2AVI, TMPGEnc, VCDImager, and vStrip enabling you to backup your DVDs to VCDs for your personal use. VCDs are playable on most DVD players and all computers with a CDROM drive. There are no complicated settings to worry about. You can rip a DVD movie in as little as one click of the mouse or any program chain on the DVD. You can select either a Bin/Cue image or MPG (VCD, XVCD, SVCD & XSVCD compliant) files for output. You can ft a full movie on one CD-R in XVCD or XSVCD mode. Follow the instructions included in the zip file to install this program.

Ifoedit

Ifoedit version 0.971 is an editor for DVD IFO files. It will display information about DVD IFO and VOB files including: Audio, Menu Attributes, Subtitles, and Video. You can use it to change MENU extras, change VOB extras, create a TMPEG template, make a region free disk, and make a disc image. Follow the instructions included in the zip file to install this program.

MPEG-2 Codec

MPEG-2 Codec version 1.2.0.79 will allow you to open MPEG-2 files in TMPGEnc and in Windows Media Player plus a host of other programs. This bundle includes Stinkys' MPEG-2 Codec Installer version 1.02.0002. Follow the instructions included in the zip file to install this program.

MPEG2Cut

MPEG2Cut version 1.15 is a fast and easy MPEG-2 cutter based on DVD2AVI version 1.76 code. This modification includes sound output using WAVE OUT code for the first mpa track muliplexed in the stream. This bundle includes libmmd.dll and MPAlib.dll. Follow the instructions included in the zip file to install this program.

SmartRipper

Smartripper version 2.41 is a DVD VOB file extractor that enables you to read the information on a DVD, remove copy protection, and copy the files onto your hard drive. The program is loaded with nice features like per-chapter splitting of VOB files, angle processing, etc. It also displays statistics such as length, size, and max/min/average bitrate for every chapter and active selection. It can rip a DVD as a single M2V Video file and an AC3 audio file or as just a single VOB file with just the streams in it you want. It will not rip a DVD with one of the newer bad sector dopy protections because this program only supports breaking CSS encryption. TMPGEnc

TMPGEnc is a general purpose MPEG-1 and MPEG-2 encoder. It enables you to encode ASF, AVI, D2V, MOV, MPG, MPEG, and WMV files into VCD (MPEG1), SVCD (MPEG2), and DVD (MPEG2) compliant specifications. It can also cut and merge MPEG and MPG files. This link will show you all of the TMPGEnc programs.

VCD Easy

VCD Easy version 1.1.5.2 enables you to build and burn VideoCDs (VCD and SVCD) from VCD (MPEG-1) compliant specifications. It can also convert BMP, DIB, GIF, and JPG images into VCD (MPEG-1) or SVCD (MPEG-2) compliant specifications so that they can be turned into a VCD or SVCD slide show. VCDImager

VCDImager version 0.7.12 is a command line program that is the tool for you if you're looking for a completely free SVCD/VCD solution. It works without problems with VCD and SVCD files created using the TMPGEnc MPEG encoder. It is the authoring solution for mastering, extracting and analyzing Video CDs and Super Video CDs. VCDImager converts MPGs to BIN/CUE in VCD and SVCD compliant formats that can be burned with CDRWin, FireBurner, or Nero. This bundle includes VCDImagerGUI version 0.6 which is a Graphical User Interface (GUI) for VCDImager. Follow the instructions included in the zip file to install this program.

VCD Player

VFAPI

VirtualDub

X-VCD Player
