If you don't like one version, just click a button to see what another site says is on the turntable. Winamp version 2.76 is a very versitile multi-format audio player. I'm not crazy about it's default settings (they're owned by AOL - need I say more) but the settings can be changed so that it won't try to play every audio file on your computer. It does have a wide variety of plug-ins that will enables you to play just about every type of audio file. This version does not have the problems that versions 3.0 & 5.0 have. There is no security risk by using this older version. It can be used with dBpowerAMP to do some pretty amazing things. Follow the instructions included in the zip file to install this program.
