They are all 128kbps/44kHz mono for best sound. At this encoding rate, the quality is hindered only by the source material. I have done my best to reduce tape hiss without cutting into the frequency range of the recording itself. Some shows here sound better than others, but I guarantee that you would not be able to tell the difference between my MP3's and the cassette, reel, or vinyl, or audio CD sources they come from (i.e., no digital artifacts associated with low-quality MP3's). As a result of this high encoding rate, each disc contains about 12 hours of material.
