Between 1995 and 2000, over 10 million people accessed these guides at the main site in New Zealand. It helped people to supplement existing forms of learning or to learn new skills. Adding the global mirror sites, many millions of other individuals have been assisted in learning about information technology. Over 350 leading universities and colleges around the world have used these guides. This project is the work of Robert Brian Brown.
Portions of the guides have been translated to French, Portuguese, Spanish, Slovenian, Hebrew, German, Chinese, Japanese and Turkish. These translations are not available on this site due to space restrictions.
No credits or certificates are offered for completion of these guides. The best way of working through a guide is to spend a little time each day till you have completed all sections. The average time to complete a guide is about 40 hours, depending upon prior knowledge.
