About the fonts on this page
Welcome to the Wallpaper Gallery.
Over the years, I have collected quite a few space images from many different
websites, and I thought I would share them with you so you can spice up
your desktop!
For those of you who are not
exactly sure what "wallpaper" is in computer talk, a wallpaper image is
the background image on your desktop that lies underneath all your desktop
icons. If you right click on an empty portion of your desktop and click
"Properties", a window will pop up that displays your current wallpaper.
To change your wallpaper, you can scroll through the list on the bottom
left, OR, click "browse" and navigate to a different folder.
Windows 95 will only allow
you to use Bitmap images (.BMP) as wallpaper, but Windows ME allows you
to use almost any image (with active desktop), and I believe that Windows
98 does as well.
HOW TO USE OUR WALLPAPER IMAGES:
All of these wallpapers are
roughly 800x600, which is the standard setting for most computers. The
easiest way to set these images as wallpaper is to click the thumbnail.
Once the full size image is displayed in your browser, right click anywhere
inside the picture and select "Set as Wallpaper". (This method works with
Internet Explorer.)
PLEASE NOTE: I present these
images only for personal and decorative use. Please do not repost them
on other websites. Some of them have been altered from their orignal form,
and credit is given (where it is known). No infringement of copyright is
intended. Have fun!
