Pennsylvania is one of our favorite recreation
states. They have a nice variety of things to see and do including hiking, skiing,
white water rafting, camping and numerous historical sites to visit. If you are
a train enthusiast as I am, checkout some of the railfan activities on my
train page.

I'm adding a misc. section here. These are shots from around the state that
don't have enough to warrant a page of their own. Still good places to visit.
Just 14 miles West of Gettysburg is
Caledonia State Park, a great place for day use or camping.
Pine Grove Furnace is just up Rt. 233 about
nine miles. It combines nice easy hiking with historic interest. Check
it out.
King's Gap State Park which is very near
Pine Grove offers great hiking and historic interest also. Moving two hours West we
come to Ohiopyle State Park. It is one
of our favorites with great scenery, camping, hiking, train watching and other
activities.
