 RELATIONS: Recognized lifemate of Scouter; lifemate of Dewshine; mother of Pool; daughter of Nightfall and Redlance; granddaughter of Longbranch and Brownberry SOUL NAME: Sohn BIO: Tyleet, who's name means "Healer's Gift," was the only cub born to the Wolfriders in the Thorny Mountain Holt. She was the result of the forced Recognition between Redlance and Nightfall, who never truly recognized one another. One strange thing about Tyleet is that her red-gold hair can actually predict the weather. She gains strands of white when an early white-cold season is expected. Tyleet has a soft heart, probably a trait from her father Redlance, especially where humans are concerned. She realizes that humans can be dangerous, but peaceful as well. After Tyleet found a human infant abandoned by its mother, she convinced the tribe to allow her to raise it as a Wolfrider, as much as any human could learn to be. The human, whom she named "Little Patch" because of a bright red birthmark on his face, proved to be bright, strong, and beautiful in his own way. Even Strongbow warmed up to the young human, teaching him in the ways of the bow. When his longing for his own kind during his adolescence caused him to return to his own tribe, Tyleet allowed him to go even though she knew it meant that he could never return to the holt. Tyleet often acts first and thinks about the consequences later, though she is not reckless. She never takes a chance unless there is an important prize to gain for her tribe. Still, she is not above breaking the tribe's rules. Tyleet sensed that the Wolfriders would need to learn the human tongue to retrieve the Palace shards just before the Djun War. She befriended a woodcutter, who taught her his language, much to the annoyance of Scouter. It was during one of Tyleet's trips to the woodcutter, that Scouter and she recognized. From their union, One-Eye's grandson Pool was born. After Tyleet and Scouter's recognition, they formed a three-mating with Dewshine, voluntarily exchanging soul names.
